Does anyone else see a cute little face with 2 long ears in that foiled design on the acetate on the card in the first example? Face notwithstanding, it’s a gorgeous card😀 Thank you for another very useful tutorial, one that I know I’ll watch more than once...
So, everyone always says put something heavy on the die while it dries. The stamping blocks are not heavy at all, and are never heavy enough for what I use them for. What I did was, way back a long time ago someone, could’ve been you Jennifer. Showed us how to stamp on ceramic tiles from Home Depot. I bought them( the rough looking ones are completely flat on the backs), and I used quite a bit of them (made coaster sets for my kids for Christmas) but I had extras left over. So I took three of them I glued them all together one on top of the other and they are the perfect weight and completely flat on the back and I use those to sit on my dies as they dry. Because, like you, I like to put several together to make them more like chipboard. The tiles, individually are very reasonable.
Oh Jennifer, I love your videos. I just took you on my vacation to London this past week. Anytime I needed to unwind and have a bit of normal, I TH-camd you. And thankfully, you churned out more videos this week!
Oh... These are fun!! I love the mica stains from Tim. I'm actually a little anxious to use them since they are limited.... I know.... I also love that big peony background stamp.
Jennifer, your NEVER-ENDING creativity and teaching excellence is what makes you the QUEEN of card-making! I love every video you make and appreciate all of your time and effort in sharing your gift and talent! 🤩🥰💕🥰
Jennifer, I mentor/tutor some young girls (ages 5 through 12). Several have expressed a desire to take art in college. I encouraged them but added that it would be beneficial to include engineering. I showed them some of your tutorials and explained your background. Just recently, an adult told me two of the girls told their parents they wanted to be a female engineer!!! My heart was so happy. I thought this would make your heart happy as well! ❤️
As always lovely cards Jennifer. I love the ombré background card, that you achieved so quickly. Thank you 🙏🏻 you for the reminder to get my under used Mica stains, you background with the peony stamp looked awesome!
So elegant and fun at the same time! I need to get out a few of the stain sprays that I have and try this. Thank you for your dedication and time. You can cheer me up just by hearing your voice!
As always, beautiful technique and cards. This is another beautiful version of your see through cards you did a couple years ago. I don't have or will have a foiling plate. I do love the foiling on the film. I have heat embossed on heat resistant overhead projector film. I like the look of these cards. I will experiment with heat( minc) foiling. I have used clear embossing powder used with a stamp to heat foil on cardstock. I also have use toner ink. I guess i have some experimenting to do. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I always love to see what you create with new products. These are stunning! I’ll definitely try this technique, because it’s not like anything you’d find in a store.❤ Thanks Jennifer.
Love this video. The cards are beautiful. I particularly like the mica sprays. I will definitely have a go at this. Thank for sharing this technique. ❤ From Tracey, Cornwall, 🇬🇧 Saturday 12.30pm
These are such gorgeous cards. I'll probably end up incorporating patterned paper and trying many of my embossing folders. My peek hole will be a flower!
Omgoodness I love these so much, Jennifer!!! 💝👏🏻💝 I will have to think about and test how to create something like this, as you may remember that I'm an invalid, in bed. 🙃😜 Just this morning I watched a video about our cardmaking becoming too much like store-bought but I have *never* seen cards like these in a store! Love your designs so much sweet girl! ♥️😘
I just wanted to thank you for repeating that you can use your own stash to make these beautiful cards! I love seeing on the new products in action but can't always get them. I plan on making 2 shaker peek a boos on my card.
Lovely ideas, the peek-a-boo cards are cool. I’m especially interested in those mica sprays, must try them more sometime. I’ve got a couple I used on a few holiday cards. Thank you for the ideas, Jennifer! 💌
What a fun technique, it looks so pretty with that foil. I don't have a foil machine but, remember when you did the laminator technique with glitter and what not in between? I'm pretty sure I have some of those left over, and I bet they would look just as good in the window. Anyway, I'm going to try it! 😂
I thought about using a birthday cake die for the peep hole. I’ll need to find a foil plate to use on the acetate or use your technique for laminating confetti for the peep hole.
LOVE THIS DESIGN...NOT A BIG SURPRISE THERE LOL!1 WONDERING DO YOU STAND UP WHEN CRAFTING OR SIT DOWN...I CAN NOT TELL BUT I THINK YOU ARE STANDING UP...
These are fantastic cards! Thank you so much for explaining everything so well, and for your reassuring style that makes us brave enough to try new things and not worry about making mistakes! On your peony card, presumably you could heat emboss the peony background *after* using the distress mica sprays, so that it stayed perfectly white, rather than having to clean it up afterwards? Thank you! 😊
Hi Jennifer, what a great technique again. Do you think as I have a peony hotfoil background that might work with the spritz Mica as well or better stamp and heat emboss. I am usually using bristol paper... or better go the other way round spritz the paper and then do the hotfoil on top? Thanks anyway for this great ideas you always are sharing😍🤩
beautiful, as always, I'm curious why you changed the size of your panels didn't they used to be 4.25 x 5.5? or am I misremembering? [which is always possible]
Thank you for your great ideas and videos, Jennifer! In this video, you state that if you you’ll link to a video you did on heat embossing on acetate, if one doesn’t have a foiling machine. However, the linked videos you provided don’t seem to have that method. What video did you do on that method?
Sorry, not-native speker here. The white card stock you use - how did you call it? Note card? Milk card? Is it the same as an index-card, i. e. thicker than paper but not quite as thick as real card stock?
So lovely. I have tried to use packaging acetate and find it to not be as clear as I would like. Have tried rubbing alcohol and still had marks on it. I gave up and bought some acetate :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE these cards! I don’t have a foiling machine and am not going down that rabbit hole. But, I can heat emboss, as you suggested. What about stamping on the acetate with Stazon? Have you tried that with these cards?
Does anyone else see a cute little face with 2 long ears in that foiled design on the acetate on the card in the first example? Face notwithstanding, it’s a gorgeous card😀 Thank you for another very useful tutorial, one that I know I’ll watch more than once...
YES!! And it looks like little arms outstretched for a hug too. I can totally see it.

Love these cards. If I could give 100 likes I would. Thanks for all the inspiration.

These are beautiful! Am I the only one that sees a cartoon rabbit in the first foiling?
Gorgeous as always ❤

Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing.
Awesome tutorial! I'm going to make these with some pretty printed acetate I have.

These are gorgeous cards!
Does anyone else see bugs bunny on the acetate? 😂 beautiful cards and techniques!
Love the peek a boo card! ❤
such a good idee, I think i'm going to try this with christmas sentiments :)
What a fun technique, it looks so pretty with that foil. I don't have a foil machine but, remember when you did the laminator technique with glitter and what not in between? These are really nice, thank you
BIG THANKS from Denmark - amasing idea 🤩👏💕
Jennifer-I was thinking about using my new embroidery hoop die and heat embossing a cute embroidery stamp on acetate…….
Beautiful. Love the technique!
Beautiful cards clever and technique
I don't have the sprays but I think I could do this with Lindy's Gang magicals!
Beautiful cards and a nice technique
I thought about using a birthday cake die for the peep hole. I’ll need to find a foil plate to use on the acetate or use your technique for laminating confetti for the peep hole.
Ooh laminated confetti behind a bday cake die would be so fun. What a great idea!
When this flashed up in my feed, for an instant I really thought it said pee hole cards. I really did😂
😂😂😂

I am excited to try this technique!

Love love love!! Are you cutting into the magnetic plate for your empress?

Your so good 👍
I think I might use a Happy Father's Day die with this technique
The foiled acetate looks like a bunny 2 me ha ha
Can you print with toner on heat tesistant plastic? Then can you send it thru the laminator with foil? Just wondering if that combo was possible?
Sorry, not-native speker here. The white card stock you use - how did you call it? Note card? Milk card? Is it the same as an index-card, i. e. thicker than paper but not quite as thick as real card stock?
So lovely. I have tried to use packaging acetate and find it to not be as clear as I would like. Have tried rubbing alcohol and still had marks on it. I gave up and bought some acetate :)
does anyone else see a bunny face in the first card window foiling? lol
I’m so glad other people are seeing it, & it’s not just me.
Can you foil without a foil machine?
LOVE LOVE LOVE these cards! I don’t have a foiling machine and am not going down that rabbit hole. But, I can heat emboss, as you suggested. What about stamping on the acetate with Stazon? Have you tried that with these cards?
you can definitely do that!
Stazon ink would also work if a person didn’t have heat-proof acetate.
Jennifer are you creating TITLES?
Would enjoy your take on it. Thanks 🤗
what is that?
