    Americans want Kevin to run to help President Trump strengthen the economy between the U.S.,Canada and UK,we are 1 people much more so than the EU country's.
    Hopefully Kevin would take the same anti political correctness stance President Trump has taken and get back Canadians right of free speech .
    American patriots love Kevin O'leary and support any run for PM he may make .

      Tommy O Donovan we don't want anymore Mexican imports in america,or Chinese imports either ,both country's export such garbage the pet food they export kills family pets & is banned in canada,not in the USA though,our poor trade deals won't allow the U.S. to ban the poison pet food .

      ***** he isn't doing anything to the " native people " of N Dakota ,what he is doing is pushing a bunch of violent George Soros funded paid anarchists off the pipeline .
      Fact , over 98% of the Dakota access pipeline is on private land with the remaining 1.8% being in government owned land ,not 1 linear foot of the Dakota access pipeline touches lands owned by the Standing Rock Souix reservation .
      Your entire argument is invalid just like the morons claiming the pipeline crosses " sacred lands " , having trespassers arrested for blocking construction of a government project IS NOT a 1st amendment right infringement.

    I'm 25 out of school with a modest bill and O'leary is absolutely right. Too few of us have any chance of getting meaningful and secure employment not to mention the other rotting elements of our economy. I love this country though so I'm going to stick it through and give it my all to create the jobs were lacking myself. Keep at it O'leary I'm really hearing your message.

    It's refreshing to hear these arguments being said. A few things I'd like to know:
    1. Is there a website where one can get access to these economical stats (that explains it in plain English/French)?
    2. Kevin you speak about keeping Engineering jobs here...do you have any others in mind? Canadians are the pioneers of neuroscience, yet most of my wife's colleagues (all PhD's in the field) are also looking for jobs outside of Canada. I'm sure there are many other industries/sectors where we are losing our home grown talent. What strategy(ies) do you have in place to keep that talent here in Canada?
    3. Where can someone follow your campaign, what you stand for and what strategies you plan on implementing and how you plan on implementing them over the next 1, 2, years etc.?
    4. what is your plan for reducing the personal and corporate tax rates and how do you plan on simultaneously reducing the debt load in our country?
    Any additional constructive comments, please let me know. Also if anyone knows a website or social media platform where I can get more info and follow this campaign, please forward those details on. Thanks

    • @bobsmith962
      @bobsmith962 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Canada was a pioneer of neuroscience and biotech. But due to lack of venture capital and poor government policy, places like California eat our lunch. They buy our innovative companies and poach our talent. Within 3 to 5 years they take over the industry. No wonder all the graduates want to work there. California's taxes are not much different than Ontario but the opportunities are light years ahead.

      Bruno Marsbars: Trump wants the best. End of story. He's said many times that highly qualified foreign students are welcome in the US. Reminds me of 20 years ago when over half of the engineers and doctors I knew went to the US. They all became incredibly wealthy and are to this day. What they saved in taxes alone was enough to give every one of them an absolute mansion.
      Meanwhile, back in mediocre-ville, the ones who stayed in Canada were dealing with mortgages, high taxes, and a bunch of social engineering financed by record government debt levels. As a friend of mine who runs a hedge fund in Hong Kong put it, "Canadians have their heads in the sand, They don't know where their money comes from. But they'll learn. We're not investing there." Every Canadian should be worried...but they aren't.

Why should engineers and other high income earners stay here when they are abused by parasites like YOURSELF......IN america people can actually keep enough of their Money! climate change has been happening for the last 4.5 billion years. The earth doesn't spin perfect on its axis either, so there are going to be years that are warmer and cooler then others. I do believe that we need to respect our environment and live cleaner, but we are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. If we really offset the balance of nature, the earth will react and probably wipe us all out...we are nothing. Climate change is a huge hoax and money maker for huge corporations. We are progressing in a positive direction and we will continue to do so. Renewable energy is growing and one day I feel we will get there on our own. What ever happened to the Ozone Layer? They loved scaring everyone about it and probably sold billions of dollars in sunscreen, which is more harmful to you then the sun itself. All a hoax.

    • @worshipwarrior12
      @worshipwarrior12 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +T SD the argument is not about whether there is climate change or not. It's whether we are the ones causing it. There is not even enough data to conclude this! First it was global cooling years ago than it was global warming, now is climate change. The scientists can't even agree on the rhetoric let alone the data. Meanwhile or economies go to pieces because drama teachers and ecological warriors want to control even the weather by taxing us more and taking away more of our business opportunities!? Bring on Kevin and Donald. We need less PC pansies and more get it done business minds in leadership.

    Ignorance is voting for career politicians that will only make the establishment worse. Elect an individual who knows and understands the market and economy. Politicians have never streamlined a business, how do you think they will do it to a country? Businessmen treat taxpayers like customers rather than employees.

    • @RoflZack
      @RoflZack 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm not sure I want to be treated as a customer.

      In case you think I'm just some liberal idiot who wants to take handouts:
      My father and uncle run a business in Canada that sells to fortune 500 companies in the united states. My family brings in lots of tax money for Canada from the US. I intend to stay in Canada and work here after post secondary.

    • @ianbenjiman
      @ianbenjiman 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Tiny Rick I love this analogy, employees work for their boss whereas a boss works for his customers. A politician fighting for national interests and for the voice of the people is obsolete. Instead they fight for votes because that is how they get elected, pure and simple.

    • @RoflZack
      @RoflZack 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ianbenjiman
      I actually really dislike the analogy. Big companies aren't interested in actually doing what is best for the customer. Grocery stores purposefully make some aspects of their layouts confusing to keep you in the store longer, for example. I'm a bit busy right now to come up with other examples but things like that are not uncommon. If citizens are to be treated like customers then they are to be manipulated and exploited.

      That's a huge change in 30 years...

    I'm a Canadian and I love Canada. However, I have recently moved to the US for work. Why? More opportunities, better pay, and the dollar goes a much longer way. The issues O'Leary speaks of is true.

    I watched the other "If I Run, Here's How I'd Do It" conservative candidate and besides Michael, Kevin is the one who spoke not from the pulpit. I am not saying non scripted candidates are better. It is the ones that really speak from their heart. and when kevin spoke I can tell he really means what he says. He speaks not on conservative values but moral values of creativity, hard work, saving, and growth. he speaks with conviction from a place of pain and shame but also pride and hope.

    How can you export oil from Alberta while it's not covering its cost?!?!?!

  • @russellsage2159
    @russellsage2159 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    While I agree most of what he says, I don't think that there should be some regulation of things like fracking else we will wind up like Texas, or Pensylvania and have no clean water supply... Then how well off are we? I do think that oil and coal are getting a bad wrap, but that is because people are getting sick and tired of the gross negligence and lack of disciple to corporations who pollute highly habitable lands or waters.... Like Leary, I am unhappy about tax rates and inefficiency of government spending.. I predict it will get more inefficient based on the fact that if we do not do as the world bankers say, then they will just raise our interest rates and cause a collapse.... How do we do what they want and get the things done that we need?

    Even though I am a mainly Liberal voter . I agree with him that Canadian companies and Canada itself needs to be more competitive . However I hope he doesn't cut social security and I worry tax cuts would inflict damage to the society . I personally think that Canada is falling behind in education and business and it might not be any politicians fault

    • @mardigbidanian7119
      @mardigbidanian7119 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      maidenforever999 I think the fall of Canadian competetivness is ultimately the people fault . Canada falling behind in R&D , innovation and educational attainment is the people's fault. I know a friend who told me a story of how his friend dropped out of high school as he though the education system was corrupt now the guy is 26 and he mows lawns. I'm sorry but why is that Trudeau's or Harper's fault obviously that's anecodal. I believe you that some immigrants are here mouching off the rest of us . That's the type of country Canada is even under Harper people come bring their large families who don't work and effectively sit on welfare . However some immigrants hustle and work hard so you can't generalize

    • @maidenforever999
      @maidenforever999 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mardig Bidanian yes you can generalize when the number of slouchers highly out number the ones who dont... common sense. If there were more working class immigrants i wouldent be saying these things.

    Democracy in Canada is broken. We need responsible voting. Vote for who u want, but if the party you vote for pushes a deficit, your income tax reflects that and as such you pay a higher tax rate. I'm tired of paying for endless promises, wasteful bureaucracy and out of control spending.
