Does anyone know of a DIY water preservative for fresh flower bouquets? Thx..
@@melp8175 I’ve heard of and have tried putting aspirin in the water. I’ve also heard that putting a little clorox (like a teaspoon) in the water to help keep it sterile helps. Finally, just changing the water every couple of days helps, and I have done this a lot with ‘simple’ flower arrangements, and it does help.😅
Of all the arrangements I've seen you do, I think this one is the most beautiful. Love the icicles hanging from the branch!

I had really serious doubts with that branch. I kept asking myself, "What the heck is she thinking?" But, wow, it is gorgeous! I never would have thought about using that branch or even those icicles that way. The icicles add such a magical touch to the arrangement. Beautiful arrangement!
Me, too!! My look was 🥺🤔 when she laid the branch across the vase. But, as always with Laura, it turned out gorgeous!

I believe the pink roses was where Samantha Grace was smelling them, saying "uhumm" several times. Benjamin was at the end smelling one also. I believe it was on Facebook and Instagram.

Awesome! I would never, in a million years, started with that branch horizontal. What a great use for leggy poinsettias. This is a great example of having a portion of supplies on hand, having some room to work, and letting your creative juices flow. Your home is looking so Christmasey and elegant.

I think the lighting in that room gives it a nice hygge feel to the arrangement. Lots of homely warmth and calm. Love it!

That's not only beautiful, it's stunningly original as well. I particularly love that you find such creative ways to make use of materials in your projects that many people would simply discard: the lilac branch, the bows from the bottom section you cut off the Christmas tree, pine cones, etc. Just brilliant!

I have never loved pointsetta, didn't like the color nor the dry texture of it, but oh my, the pop of red in the arrangement is stunning, the white and the green complement it so well. This is one of my favorites arrangements, brilliant Laura. Gosh the talent you have is envy-inducing!

Laura, such a beautiful arrangement! It looks stunning in your entrance hall. I went to a box store last week to pick up poinsettias, and they were so sad. I finally found 2 small ones that didn't fall apart, and only paid 2.98 for both. Now i see some of the big ones could be saved in an arrangement!
