Exactly, his Fantasie in G-Dur. This video is from years back, so I conclude I never recorded the piece. I have to look into it again, it's a very fine piece.
It seems , you already had posted this several years ago - no? And , my vision is - a 4" solution is doubtful and too fast for Nun Komm sorrowful melody . I prefer here only one Pr 8" and slower
True. From my big sample set presentation videos from years ago I sometimes pick a piece and rework it into a single video (reason: those big videos then had an average watch time of 1 minute, so probably almost no one saw it). Besides that, thanks for sharing your opinion about how you should play this piece
@@tomschmidt5957 It's baroque, so luckily no registration prescriptions. You can do what sounds right to you, of course within limits (rules of that time). I sometimes play it in a small plenum registration, a bit slower. Or with flutes 8'+2' a bit faster.
wie berührend eine einfache 4'Flöte klingen kann! Super gemacht!
Danke, Markus!
A very enjoyable piece of music . Thanks Ralph.😊
Thanks, Adrian!
A beautiful 4' flute never misses its target ;-)
Exactly ;)
That 4’ flute is up there with the best of the best, perfectly suited to this fughetta.
Thanks!
Nice piece and a beautiful stop!
Thanks!
Bach is always wonderful.
Even a little and short piece is interesting.
🎹
True! But luckily there are more fine composers out there to discover.
You are right.
But even if Bach is my favorite composer, I try to play also others less known.
🎹
A very beautiful 4' stop sounds. Suitable for this miniature fuguette.
Thanks, Vidas!
A wonderful little fugue, so beautifully registered.
Thanks!
This is a very nice fughetta. I recorded it last year. But… what’s in the background? A Bach Fantasia?

@ that’s a beautiful work indeed!
The registration couldn't be simpler and that's enough.
Thanks!

A 4' only might be unusual but it has it's attraction. Being in a church and the sound coming from high above is my idea here... Rorate coeli...
