    Running it with no exhaust pipe so close to the intake is like a custom EGR system 😆

      Never mind no exhaust they were running it with no air filter...always great for a freshly rebuilt diesel engine in the middle of a rat shit dust storm lmfao...

    I just finished binge watching all 3 parts of this one. That was one hell of a job. You guys are the A Team! Quite a skill set. Bravo!!!!!! Nice work. Hell, I didn't even have anything to do with it but I was thrilled to bits when it took off and ran. Love your channel. Who watches regular fiction TV when you can watch this stuff, learn something and put it to use on your own projects. I have a 60" smart TV that I haven't turned on in weeks.       So will never cleaning your engine bay. I have a truck made in 1985 that I'm confident never had the engine bay cleaned. It has about 300K miles on it and a good inch of gunk in places. No noticeable leaks! lol

      We were actually pushing the forklift more than keeping it down. The creeper gear and hydrostat in the Kubota gave a lot more fine movement then the trans in the forklift. Worked great

    @16:13 was that your alternator cable not connected to your alternator? It looked like it might have been connected later, but I wanted to be sure.

      They were starting it other ways and disconnected it in the process. They just didn't hook it back up while taking that shot. All it would do is not charge the on-board batteries temporarily. It would need to be hooked back up to run long term.

    spent half my life driving them but I always clean them out before storage!!!! you guy are so coooooooool you will freeze up, we had a mechanic so laid back & cool we called him frosty. let's do it.

    I think filling the filter is a good idea on larger filters. I've been a diesel mechanic for 12 years and I've never had a problem with pre filling the filters. The older dt 466 filters hold nearly a gallon. That's a long time before it primes on its own.

      Meanwhile, im here in my 1.6 miata trying to prefill a filter that screws on sideways and then reach past 3 layers of chassis and subframe to thread the thing on.Good luck prefilling that without getting oil in the armpit

    As soon as you cracked the lines on that pump, I started hearing it sputter and I said "she'll light." Gotta love all mechanical common rails. All you need is some fuel pressure, some air and halfway decent compression and they go. It sounds really sweet. It'll run a long time.

    That's what a Cummins is made for! I have an old MF TO-20 that's only had 4 wheel studs for the last 20 yrs., but I'd think of fixing those on a combine. Great video. Thanks.

    Yes, always replace your coolant filters. If the DCA gets too low then you'll get cavitation of the block. However if you change it too oftsn then you can fur up the rad core internally. Best to get the test strips and check it regularly. 👍

    2366 is such a good machine everyone I know who’s run one loves them. Case ih is still building basically the same machine with a new # we have a 2 year old machine that is essentially the same machine with sleek fiberglass shields.

    I grew up ona farm and I can remember when a 4 row corn head was pretty standard, my Dad had a 2 row when I was a kid. I can't believe how big these things are now.
