🏒 The Inaugural Mayor’s Cup - A Community Hockey Event! 🏒
On February 1, 2025, TRIA Rink in Saint Paul hosted the first-ever Mayor’s Cup, an exciting youth hockey event featuring peewee teams from the Saint Paul Edgcumbe Youth Hockey Association and the City of Lakes Youth Hockey Association. The event brought together Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who served as honorary captains for their city’s teams. The Mayor’s Cup was a special community event leading up to the 2026 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Championship, which will take place in Minnesota!
