Sid Vicious - Why Scott Steiner was Pure Chaos in WCW

  • Sid Vicious discusses how chaotic Scott Steiner could be in WCW. Also how Rick Steiner was originally booked to squash Ric Flair at Starrcade 1988. Full shoot ➤ TitleMatchNetwork.com
Sid Vicious burst onto the national scene, making his WCW debut in 1989. During his star-making stint Sid had several encounters vs the Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott). In this exclusive shoot interview, Sid explains why matches with "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner were always chaotic and how Rick Steiner was actually the better of the two brothers.
Sid also reveals how at NWA/WCW Starrcade 1988, Dusty Rhodes had booked Rick Steiner to squash Champion Ric Flair in under 5 minutes. Then how Flair allegedly went above Dusty to complain to management, ultimately changing the finish of the match.
Later Sid says Ric Flair did the same thing to him when he was booked to win the World Championship from Sting in 1990. Ironically, Vicious tells us that Scott Steiner's match against Ric Flair is what setup him for trouble in his pro wrestling career.

Kevin botched more than he hit half the time with his powerbombs.
No, Sids were almost always brutal, intense, and fast... man made it look effortless.

SCOTTY HAS A COMPETITIVE ATTITUDE LIKE MOST WRESTLERS AND ATHLETES HAVE AS KIDS AND IT CARRIES OVER AS AN ADULT... CAN STEROIDS ADD TO THE AGGRESSION? SURE, BUT IT'S NOT ALWAYS THE CASE. IF YOU HAVE THAT COMPETITIVE GENE IN YOU, IT NEVER GOES AWAY.

I talked to Scott for like an hour at an NPC show, at the time I was the editor of a small BB magazine. He was super calm and a really nice person?

Idk about anyone else but I always liked Sid.. especially when he was with Shawn Michaels. Always thought he was cool with his black leather vest.

Fun Fact: His son was on the reality show Big Brother in 14 (2012) and 18 (2016). His stint on 18 was short. He was a competition beast and won America's Favorite Player in season 14.
