Having Yoshitsune as Junpei's Sub-Persona in Q is one of the most efficient ways to annihilate the game's difficulty curve.
Do you get it early enough for that to actually break the difficulty curve, though? Cuz normally you don't get it until you're so late in the game it just makes the last few parts easy.
Nah, I got it around the Final Boss. In fact, Yoshitsune + Junpei took out the final boss in less than 10 turns.

Don't worry, we only further broke Hassou Tobi by making every hit a crit in SMT5 at the cost of hitting 8 randomly.

Funny how Yoshitsune in Shin Megami Tensei 5 is only the third best physical attacker and they buffed Hassou Tobi in it to each hit having 100% crit rate.

@@anastasishatzakis5752 Fionn Mac Cumhail his unique attack is Mac an Luin its a severe physical attack against one enemy, the attack deals even more damage when its a crit.
Artemis her unique attack is Astral Saintstrike whitch is 15 weak physical attacks against multiple enemys. (Artemis is DLC)
Fionn is the best physical attacker in the game, Artemis is second place.

@@Crispierbug not stats, enemies (mostly) have unique weakened versions of skills. If you ever tried hacking skills, you'll find copies of one skill, some with proper names, others with dummy ones. Player only ever gets one version of each skill, enemies can have several variants, each with different base power. Not just MegaTen franchise does this, quite some other games do, too.
If you think about it Hassou Tobi is even more broken, in the way that Hp is easier to recover than Sp

Indeed, and even if you've maxed out the Tower Social Link(one of the most difficult to unlock and finish), you'll still need a few levels before you get Hasso Tobi at 83. For reference, I often fight Ameno-Sagiri at 75.
true and you need 8 lvl to get the skill which needs so much farming unless u get lucky with shuffle times

Yoshi is easy to grind at magatsu inaba. Just go solo so youll get max exp. Rise will keep you healthy all the way anyway
In the original P4 there was an exploit where you could infinitely farm an enemy in Magatsu Inaba. I think in Golden it was probably removed, but you could leave the battle on Rush and come back some hours later and be max level.
Let's not forget that in the original Persona 4, Hassou Tobi could be inherited on various other Personas. I think I recall seeing an Izanagi No Okami with Hassou Tobi, way back when.

The attacks seemed to do around 3000 damage. Hassou Tobi hits 8 times. That equals to somewhere near 24,000 damage. Armageddon specifically does 9,999 damage.
It's even more OP in Persona Q, with stronger hits that hit random targets, making it deadly against single opponents.
I remember the endgame of p4g was super easy for me since I grinded enough levels to be able to fuse yoshitsune right before the Adachi fight, and using him against the Marie and Izanami boss
For my first ever playthrough recently I wanted to stick with Izanagi and boy this game really lets you do that no problem. My stats were nearly capped out by the time I reached Adachi lol
I got to Adachi, from what I can see, severely *overleveled* because I went in with Satan and Zaou-Gongen. Let's just say he would have preferred Dojima to just shoot him in the face

To anyone asking about the battle music change, there's a community mod pack for the PC version that adds a number of things, including editing battle music
Tbf the numbers are slightly inflated with these bois having so much health but yeah, Yoshitsune is basically my "Deal with the Golden Hand" Persona XD
It is balanced since you have to use so many buffs and debuffs.
Morning Star can already wipe the field as your first move and it disregards any physical protect/nulls the enemies has. All you need really is, Auto-Tarukaja and debilitate to kill with Hassou Tobi. And maybe Arms Master to reduce life point cost.
Morning star can't crit. Hassou Tobi have 8 chances for it
