My my Dad passed from Cancer all in his body after his first successful chemo. It turned out that they didn't see the cancer in his lungs at first and it spread to other areas. My mom took care of him for 2 yrs at home. When we went up to visit from Florida, we saw him in a way we've never seen him. My mom told me not to cry, but she didn't realize how bad he changed because she was with him every day. I took pictures and when he passed i showed her. She was so shocked at what she saw. I never cried in front of them when I saw him for a week for the very last time. My brother lived across the street, so I would go to his house and cry in his bathroom. It's so devastating to see someone so strong through his whole life, shrink away from illness. He was a wonderful man that got along with everyone. Needless to say, during his funeral, I stayed the strong one. He was a wonderful man and we were blessed to have him in our lives.
