Apparently Pound and Pumpkin Cake are old enough not to need diapers anymore. I honestly thought that Pound, Pumpkin, and Flurry Heart would create Discordlike chaos together.

The only major change the Cake Twins have gone through is they stopped wearing diapers sometime before Crusader of the Lost Mark and after Slice of Life (Except in 28 Pranks Later, where they suddenly wear diapers again?).

Nathan, that shot of the castle at the beginning of an episode is called an establishing shot. Castle or no castle, it's just to show where they actually are. They did that with the Golden Oak Library as well!
Yeah I know what an establishing shot is, I do camera work myself XD But I just want to point out how often the castle is shown as the establishing shot. The Library wasn't shown any where near as much, it seems most episodes take place at Twilight's castle now. Not that I'm complaining about that, but i just wish they'd mix it up a little, start off with an establishing interior shot, or maybe an over head shot of the castle looking down, that would be different, but we usually always get that same shot of it front the front XD
BronyBurningAxe Yeah, they're probably too lazy to draw an overhead view and I'm personally not sure if an interior shot even qualifies as an establishing shot. They could however try that, I guess. However, if my theory is correct (and it more and more seems to be, considering all the latest episodes from the finale and this season, counting the future ones I already know the story of) that might seize to be an issue by maybe around season 8.
- Ponies are usually ambulatory within a few hours.
- I think the stamp is going for 'apologetic' more than 'sad'
I'm glad people got used to seeing Flurry! It's like getting used to Poof from the Fairly Odd Parents, you know, the fairy baby, right?
I haven't seen much of that series but I am glad too :)
Speaking as an Uncle to 9 kids, I can attest that Shining Armour's state at the start of this episode is VERY realistic XD
its cool that we can see a alicorn start from a baby to maybe see it grow up
Yeah I just hope she doesn't stay a baby all the time XD Maybe if and when they do G5 in 2020 or whatever, we will be set in the future where Flurry Heart is grown up and we follow her and maybe her friends or something.

The cake twins may look the same design wise generally but I think they do act a little more like toddlers than babies now just like Flurry does, and also if you compare the monkey and butterfly toys they're holding when they're first seen in this episode with the same toys in Baby Cakes they've grown quite a lot! Those toys look really small now!

7:58 cadance didn't get it but shining and spear head were both guards so both understand how dark a hallway can be due to how often they both would have to stand guard for hours on end in hallways as members of the royal guard at both during the day but also the night

Me: All Twilight Sparkle was trying to do was get Flurry Heart's attention.
Excitable Twilight is an adorable Twilight! Loved how Twilight was cooing over Flurry Heart as well, I know that it's early in the season still but Spike has been great this season, really loving him so far this season. Seeing Cadance and Shining Armor like that was great, I really liked Shining Armor when we found out that Cadance was pregnant, so the fact that they're doing that more with both of them is great. Also love many of the jokes in this episode, from the shot about art, to the call back from Pinkie Pie's party cave, ect extra, so good! Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

Three things to say.
1st: I'm pretty sure DHX knows what Bae means, so I think this is their way to tease fans that know what Bae means. Either that or it is just a big coincidence.
2nd: Grogar, I heard he is a gen 1 villain so maybe he will be an up coming threat for our heroes. (also isn't he a necromancer?)
3rd: I wanted an episode like this and something like this happened to me so it is very relatable.
Now we just need a moment in which Twilight is watching Flurryheart and a problem arises making her have to travel to the human world and leave the baby with Sunset Shimmer, who accidentally says a bad word that Flurryheart starts repeating.
(This is a reference to a fanfic by Summer Dancer on fimfiction called "Suncered" and I think it's pretty funny so whoever reads this comment should check it out, so enjoy.)
That actually sounds awesome, but I don't think Hasbro would use a bad word, unless it was something made up, typically pony related, bad language wouldn't really be a good idea to teach kids XD

Hey cool you commented on my comment. I know Hasbro couldn't have bad words but it would be awesome and funny (for me at least) and them using a made up Equestrian term would remind me of how Transformers uses the word scrap to replace bad words sometimes. Anyways the whole Twilight leaving the demon child, I mean Flurryheart with Sunset (just joking I actually like the little baby, just a joke about what DWK calls her) and Sunset accidentally saying a bad word is just my own way of referencing the fanfic on fimfiction by Summer Dancer called Suncered, I think it's funny and I will sometimes subconsciously point people in the direction of something I think they would like. (I love seeing others happy and don't want them missing out on something they might love, otherwise I wouldn't have found mlp.)
Also do you take mlp video reaction request and if so how can I suggest them to you? I talked to this guy called Melody Requiem who makes SFM video and I made a comment on a video that seemed to make him happy and after talking to him a bit he gave me permission to suggest his videos to reactors that they can watch, so basically by letting me suggest these videos to reactors such as yourself he's giving permission to the reactors I suggest these to to react to these videos. I want to see Celestia's other sibling, in season one it mentioned Celestia's nephew, I doubt it's Luna's child, but if it is I want to see the father. Also Luna was in the Moon for a thousand years, I doubt Luna would turn evil if se had a child.
Well we saw her nephew it was Princes Blueblood. But yeah I never considered the fact he'd probably be Luna's son...hmm...
According to Lauren Faust, Blueblood was a distant relation, like a 50th cousin or something. Obviously hyperbole, but Lauren's intention was clear: Prince Blueblood was not closely related to either of the two royal sisters.

As a mother myself, i have to admit that i am enraged by this episode. Not only did Flurry Heart go un-reprimanded the entire time, but when Twilight finally did yell (to save foals in danger mind you) they treated it like Twilight was in the wrong. That's not an acceptable thing to teach! If you do wrongly, you should get yelled at. Mothers everywhere are too busy to pay 100% attention to their kids, but that doesn't make it acceptable for a child to act out because they didn't get what they wanted. This is the EXACT thinking that causes the entitled little shits that i have to babysit on a dayly basis. Kids as young as 2 or 3 who think they should get everything and being told no is mean. NO! Don't apologize for 'scaring' your kid with yelling. Your kids need to know that's not okay! Of course, you shouldn't hit your children, but yelling is perfectly fine! Kids become manipulators. They cry and run away if it gets them what they want even after the adult says no!
Never babysit on a tight schedule, they got that right, but that doesn't mean that busy people should let their kids get away with everything because of that! I would have given my son a new ear-hole if he did something THAT DANGEROUS to other children. Twilight should have done the same!
Well not all kids turn out to be brats by being spoiled. I have been told I turned out ok, and yet I have always been given what I want, I am spoiled rotten by my parents, I still am at the age of 24. I've never been grounded a single day in my life, and I was never hit by them either.
But I do see where you are coming from, it seems the majority of kids who are given what ever they want and are never punished turn out bad, but some don't. And I think it's wrong to label a group of people because a majority are bad. I don't much appreciate being given a label.
But that is your opinion I suppose, we all have our own opinions, neither one is right or wrong.

If those who turned out poorly were a minority, i might agree. However, society is always judged by the Majority. However, i highly doubt your parents have never once said "Stop that, that's dangerous!" or any variation there of to you. Children need to be taught right from wrong, and they learn that by being told. When flurry acted out in a way that became dangerous, just letting her have her tantrum was no longer acceptable and Twilight should not have apologized for telling her to stop that. She was being DANGEROUS toward other foals. It wasn't okay and Twilight's apology only tells her that, even when she's really wrong, all she has to do is cry to get away with it.
Have you heart the Affluenza controversy that happened a few years back? A teenager drove drunk and killed four people in a crash. Since he was never taugt right from wrong, he was diagnosed with 'affluenza' (not influenza) and they let him go without any punishment whatsoever. He killed 4 people and got away scot free. That is the exact kind of person that comes about when parents behave like twilight did. It's unacceptable to apologize for telling your child to stop it, or for yelling when they refuse to listen. Twilight tried asking nicely and Flurry ignored her, so yelling was the next step considering the danger that manifested from it.
Actually my parents have taught me right from wrong, they just didn't need to do it in the same manor you describe as the best way to bring up a child. I wasn't born mischievous like some kids, I'd say I was disciplined without actually being disciplined.
All i describe is raising your voice. When a child becomes dangerous to others, you shouldn't apologize for telling them to stop that. I'm sure you can agree with that at least.
Yeah I do agree with that, but only if the raising of the voice was absolutely needed to make them understand. I believe you can reason with kids in a civil manor if you try, it's only if they don't seem to be acting childish and not give a shit that you should raise your voice at them. Aside from that, love em, treat em like you would any other human being, they are humans, not animals. Or at least that is my way of thinking.
