I loved this finale too .I actually like cozy glow she is one of my fav villains cuz she has a unique motivation and finally we have an unreformed villain. Her motivation is basically the trope of getting the distorted ideology of something ,in this case cozy wanted friendship but saw the wrong way of doing it. It’s sort of a common trope but we haven’t seen it In mlp so I call it unique.Tbh i don’t think she needs a backstory she is just a child and if she wasn’t evil before she joined the school it wouldn’t really be far fetched at all. And even with a creature with no powers she was still the villain closest to success in defeating the mane six which is pretty impressive , manipulation especially that scene when she took out neysay(idk how to spell his name lmao)was something I wanted to see more since chrysalis only did it in the s2 finale and I was happy with cozy glows performance(even if it wasn’t a surprise that cozy is the villain that’s still no excuse to say she did poorly in the finale)Looking at how close all the villains got to victory I think cozy got the closest , her only cause of undoing was underestimating the power of friendship and the student six. So I think cozy is one of the best mlp villains so far imo, I can see ppl don’t like her but to me she is on par with tirek and the sirens.

I remember how people criticized how they locked a little child up in Tartarus. I always hated those arguments because age doesn't change the fact that Cozy Glow is a dangerous criminal. I also remember when I was convinced that she was Chrysalis. But considering how Season 9 came out, I see how it works. Perhaps showing Chrysalis was just to demonstrate just how far she's fallen.
