I have written a picture book about a pack rat, but realize while editing it I need to make it more interesting by using more descriptions and narratives. I enjoyed your video. Thanks.

This was right on time. This is my first crack at this and I just finished my first draft. Now I can see I have more work to do.

Well, I am still writing my first kids book. Which I am still debating what age group I am aiming for, since the first chapter is over 1000 odd words. And busy with chapter two...

I've written several picture books, and it's definitely not easy. I thought the most helpful tip in this video was about the page breakdown of the three acts. Still looking for an agent, but I'm not worried. I'm sure if I keep writing, I'll get it eventually.

As someone who would like to someday make a picture book (for kids, but also illustrated poetry books) I never considered doing it with someone else's art. I don't why that sounds so weird to me, I guess that's majority of the cases now isn't it? Huh... just. Huh.

This will sound ridiculous, but I was obsessed with anything Disney princess. LITERALLY everything.

Working on my first picture book, I am short a few pages from the industry standard of 32. Should have watched this video before I started. I have taken my photos and am working on my captions.

I've written 1 picture book. Not sure how to go about getting it published. One online source says, "sorry you need an artist," but that doesn't seem to ring true to me.

I have the book I written in a format as if were just waiting for the images to be placed on the page. Is this a bad idea?
