I like Jim's idea of a shared Savage Streets universe, but I don't think Heather grew up, recovered her hearing and moved to Kentucky. I think she stayed in the LA area, bought a little house with rooms to rent and eventually married a creepy man who just happened to be an immortal cannibal caveman. ;-P Also Chris, I love that you had almost the exact reaction I did at the start of Savage Streets, re: Wait, I *know* this song!
Savage Streets sounds alright, Death Wish 3 is absolutely fucking amazing. The evil gang is this hilariously diverse assortment of video game henchmen it’s so funny. Death Wish 4: The Crack Down, is also amazing.
there is a Sonny Chiba movie called the Executioner. still seems pretty obscure haven't heard many people talk about it. it is a hilariously sleazy karate movie. definitely worth checking out for this kind of discussion.
Oh this is hilarious because there actually is a graffiti artist that spray paints the entire side of railroad cars in nothing but the word "VOMIT" in various graffiti fonts. 🤣 I used to work in a plastics plant and there were rail road tracks going through so loads of plastics could be picked up directly into the cars and one of those "VOMIT" cars came into the plant. 🤣 So I got to see his work up close and personal like. Years later I happened to see another one he did while traveling down the highway next to a train.
Ngl. DW3 is pretty dumb in ways I didn't even think of when I last watched it years ago, but I still enjoy how it's the only film in the series that focuses on the perspectives of different characters than just Paul. Other Death Wish films really only focus on the plights and struggles of Paul Kersey, but this one introduces the viewers to a small community which I thought was nice. Another thing I will add is that at some point in this podcast the lack of interest in discussing rehabilitation is mentioned, but it is sort of present in the second film where it's very much mocked and dismissed in a very dishonest and unrealistic way (even for a Death Wish movie) that I had a pretty big problem with. Honestly I preferred that it didn't come up again in the third film.
the entire series is bad but this is the only one that's actually slightly entertaining. I still kind of hate it though. I used to watch tons of terrible Steven seagal and Van Damme and Schwarzenegger movies and I always liked bad action movies that I would watch ironically but the death wish series just... it's kind of like Cobra. I really hate Cobra.
You guys blew my mind with the Willow/Death Wish 3 casting crossover.
Hahah! Yep!
"THEY SHOT THE GIGGLER!!"
"They had no business doing that"
Fun fact: I've referenced this so many times, my phone auto completed it 😅

Two of my absolute favorites, especially Savage Streets. You guys are great, I'm loving this!
I'd be happy to join Chris' GANG! It'd be about cats and being nice!
Good video
Fraker is also Captain Leroy from Sharpe! I knew he looked familiar.
I remember seeing Savage Streets on video in late 80s. What stuck in mind, and not posetively, was the assault scene.
I had to watch this one in parts today, but once again, great episode guys! Keep em coming!
Great episode dudes! What a way to sign off. Trash movie gangsters 4 eva

the directors cut of robocop got an X for violence. Army of Darkness director's cut got and NC-17 for... something... i guess they hate Sam Raimi.
Ever considerered Tank Girl for this series, or is that just not trash?
I’ve definitely considered it. I’d love to do more comic book movies that underperformed.
I personally can't stand the Tank Girl movie. It's not bad/good, just bad/bad. But, maybe one day...
