You are absolutely stunning! I struggle with acne as well. Its okay. Don't listen to the societal pressures of having perfect skin. Acne is normal and should be normalized. As women, our hormone levels will never stay the same level! We have periods, stress, hormonal and body changes and our that cause acne. What matters is your hard work and personality!
This honesty helps a lot. I feel so defeated scrolling through social media sometimes, forgetting that filters are common. And seeing your natural, normal, healthy skin is affirming.
I had cystic acne for years and it left me with pit like scars. It’s not easily covered by makeup. I finally got rid of the acne but now have aftermath that will probably never fade. I modeled for a few years in my twenties during breakouts. Everyone uses photoshop and filters. It’s easy to be self conscious in such a filtered world. You are still beautiful.
I think people are so gorgeous with acne, acne scars, redness, blemishes, etc. Its so nice to see influencers looking like most people do on a daily basis. Even with makeup on we have texture, but its really common to think that shouldn't be the case due to the filtering we see online everyday. Just wanted to say its nice to see you normalize having texture/blemishes :) you are absolutely breathtaking !!!
I’m sorry that you feel bad about this! I have way worse acne/scarring than you and I feel slightly better about myself hearing about this :) If it makes you feel more confident, use the filter! But for me, it just gets more and more difficult to not once I start covering it up 💕
it's okay girlie! we all struggle with our skin it's totally normal. but you are so right about how it's not that normalized on social media, and i am actually so happy you're talking abouy it
just like how you normalize your “ugly”outfits, you can normalize your “ugly” skin note: i do NOT mean kalita is ugly. just like how her “ugly” outfits aren’t ugly, as they’re just not the picture perfect put together fits that social media highlights. her skin isn’t ugly, it’s just not the filtered perfection that we’re used to seeing online
Girl, I have exactly the same issue right now. Please don't worry too much, whoever dislikes your videos just because you have the skin of a normal Human being can simply f off. Love you ❤
My skin's been worse than usual recently too because of stress and I totally get the struggle - NOTHING affects my self esteem worse than bad skin!! It really is so unpleasant to deal with, even if acne is completely normal. But even just seeing an influencer being honest about it and dealing with the same skin problems as me made me feel a little better :) I appreciate this video a lot, and I hope more influencers start to get real about acne
Thanks for the transparency, that does help normalize normal skin! It is truly so so normal, things a majority of people experience, you're not alone and we would watch your content regardless of how your skin looks 💞
its so amazing of you to tell us that! its so important to normalize that filters exist, and its not the standard, and telling people you use them is the most awesome mature and kind choice ever
I’m actually so glad you came out and said that, it made me feel normal and not like I was the only one on the internet without perfect skin. You look amazing!! Don’t let anyone tell you different!! 🔥
It’s wild how filters are so deceiving, and naturally without the filter you’re so beautiful. I personally watch your videos because of your style, fun personality, and thrifting- that’s what shines through more than anything
Honestly growing up is realizing that skin is skin and it’s just there to keep our insides from getting damaged no matter how it looks like it’s still beautiful. Everyone will have a blemish, it’s so normal.
Your skin is still so healthy and glowing despite the acne! I struggle with acne, some texture, large pores, etc and I really wish more influencers would drop the filters bc the reality is that regardless of how open-minded, transparent, and accepting an influencer appears to be, their use of filters and other measures to achieve both aesthetic and lifestyle “perfection” just perpetuates the unrealistic and unhealthy beauty standards that make us feel the need to filter our skin in the first place. Filters (and I don’t mean the silly/fun kind) aren’t good for anyone: the creators that use them, or the audience that sees it.
I myself can feel so insecure about acne-scars and redness (even at 36😅) But i would much preefer your natural skin over a filter. It would be so much more inspiring, not just to women my age, but to the new younger generation! Its hard to turn over and love your skin if you feel insecure, i get it. But it's worth it and your skin looks glowy and real!!😊
Those people that are like “she had a filter on” under some peoples videos are the worst, there is a reason they have the filter, if they’re feeling insecure then they don’t want it pointed out. Don’t worry, you are beautiful with the filter off, love your self 🫶
There is no point hiding it my skin is naturally god due to the genes though I still have some redness so I tend to cover it up, you assure you, you look fantastic either way :))
To be honest as someone who has acne i when i see someone posting a video with acne i like it more since i feel like yeah she is georgous she has acne its okay it doesnt take away her beauty so dont put yourself down because of your skin
It's not just your fault. The way we have been brought up with social media was negligent. We didn't knew any better. It is obvious that something went wrong if we even feel bad about our human bodies which are meant to be all different. Not saying that you're the only one. I think the majority of people, including myself, are in a constant battle with their insecurity. It's basically a part of learning to accept oneself. You're not alone
Try the dr Sam’s skincare, it’s truly great for all skin types and really improves acne prone skin, balances out both oily or dry skin, plumps out any fine lines and helps with redness. Sounds too good to be true but myself and several friends have used it for about 18 months now and our skin has never looked and felt better. For reference I had dry skin with rosacea, and the others have combo acne prone skin. I don’t know how it’s so good but it really is and we all panic now if we start running out because we don’t want to use anything else. And per gram it works out so much cheaper than most skincare brands and it also feels luxurious everyone you use it. I’m not associated with the brand in anyway whatsoever, I just want to share products that are actually really good and have made a massive difference to us. ❤
Hi You are not alone Think 70% of TH-cam have filter And they not tell us Why don’t now I think it’s a big sadness’s 😢 Stay for what you are yes you must love your self first ❤ Good luck with filter 😂😂
Honestly I prefer seeing influencers looking like themselves than a carbon copy of the same filtered face I see on social media. I appreciate the realness! Especially in a world where everything is fake.
To the poster of this video: Use bentonite clay with apple cider vinegar, turmeric powder and distilled water. Then mix in a glass bowl with a wooden spoon. Do the masks twice a week with good moisturizer. You will be fine you are beautiful.
Hey, I don't even notice. There was another video where you mentioned you weren't "put together" and apologized and I'm over here like, ummm? You're lovely and if you're hearing crappy comments, it isn't because the world thinks that, its just because the people with the biggest insecurities and the crummiest personalities are the loudest. Personally, when you are actively showing me clothing, I am not staring, trying to catch a blemish, I am looking at what you want to show me.
Can you try head and shoulders on your skin? I heard that might be good because of the zinc in it. I want someone to try it out before I do it I don’t know.😅 love your videos and you look so pretty even with the acne❤ ❤❤ (I have similar problems as you😭)
We are so hard to our selves if it is because we use filter or because we dont we are just human we are as honest as superficial so dont worry social media never show all even of we try to, we just have to be connscios❤️🩹
Ok honestly ur skin doesn’t look bad at all! There are some breakouts but it’s so normal and honestly most ppl has it! You look more gorgeous without the heavy filter please trust us❤🥹

Thanks for putting it out. My skin has been breaking badly and I needed to see this in my feed.
just like how you normalize your “ugly”outfits, you can normalize your “ugly” skin

“It’s so bad” 🙄 I swear, I hate when people are like this cause I know they are pulling our legs 🤦🏻♀️
You still look beautiful ❤
I feel like seeing real skin on people has been the most beautiful even with blemishes
Because it’s natural

We love you regardless ❤️

Honestly growing up is realizing that skin is skin and it’s just there to keep our insides from getting damaged no matter how it looks like it’s still beautiful. Everyone will have a blemish, it’s so normal.
Your truth is beautiful!
Your skin is beautiful. It's also real. And that's great. ❤❤
Your skin is still so healthy and glowing despite the acne! Good luck with filter 😂😂
I respect that
Honestly I prefer seeing influencers looking like themselves than a carbon copy of the same filtered face I see on social media. I appreciate the realness! Especially in a world where everything is fake.
If she says her skin is gross then I don't even want to talk about mine 😭😭
Well that made me feel awful as my skin is 100x worse than this and hers is literally perfect
Thank you for keeping it realllll. I am worse
To the poster of this video: Use bentonite clay with apple cider vinegar, turmeric powder and distilled water. Then mix in a glass bowl with a wooden spoon. Do the masks twice a week with good moisturizer. You will be fine you are beautiful.
Guys, if you want shiny skin, Beauty of Joseon's SPF (cream) is the deal.

Personally I still think that’s good skin…

We are so hard to our selves if it is because we use filter or because we dont we are just human we are as honest as superficial so dont worry social media never show all even of we try to, we just have to be connscios❤️🩹
Ok honestly ur skin doesn’t look bad at all! There are some breakouts but it’s so normal and honestly most ppl has it! You look more gorgeous without the heavy filter please trust us❤🥹
What I did to get used to it is slowly decreasing the amount of filter I use and let myself get used to seeing my normal face.
You can do it too!❤
