Hugh Jackman is Logan and the character needs to retire with him when he is done with the role, but He’s not there yet. Just gave us the best Wolverine We’ve seen to date.
Laura (X-23) did take Wolverine's place in the comics when he was killed off for a time. I think fans would accept her as the new Wolverine because her character has already been established for it, at least comic book wise and I don't think fans of the comics would have an issue with it. Things may need to be fleshed out a little in a storyline for the movies when it comes to the character of Laura to replace Wolverine, but I don't think it would be too hard to do.

The reality is unlike Renalds he wasn't familiar with the character and it showed and only did a good job with the character in the Logan film. Anyone who takes the time to learn the character properly with be light years better than Jackman.
Let's call it Jackman's version of Wolverine and judge it on that. He brought more emotion to the comic character. Transitioning a version from a comic book or novel always has it's compromises. Just like Lord of the Rings book fans had to let go of the books and 'appreciate' the cinema version.

Dougray Scott was a good choice back in 2000 before scheduling conflicts, Statham with a wig would even work. But the young actors today? I can't think of any. You'd have to go with an unknown.

Wolverine had many Voice Actors so literally anyone can replace him. I don’t like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine because he’s too tall. Wolverine is around 4 feet tall. What I’m more worried about is who will play as Charles Xavier when Patrick Stewart is gone?

The game was a banger by the way, and as I said Jackman is a hell of an actor so he did some very solid voice work.
