They should do a spin off with both the characters Paloma and Felix. With a mentor dynamic sprinkled with some funny moments and one liners. Both actors are really good and they helped build these two characters that were really small cool highlights of the movies.

Wish they would make the next ones in their right historical context. Just go back to the Cold War. And don’t update the mindset, mannerisms and dialog to a “modern audience”. Trust the audience to be intelligent enough to understand some things were as they were and they’ll judge it by themselves as each sees fit. What am I saying.. Ruben Dias is an excellent choice for the next James Bond.

I’m pretty sure even Fleming (who although was writing serious thrillers but at the same time was completely unpretentious about what he was writing. He knew damn well that he was writing stuff of fantasy. But that’s not to say that they weren’t good. They were fantastic) would’ve thought that they take themselves way too seriously and would’ve thought of it as really dull (heck he’d be the first to say that it’s all a bit silly. In DAF, He has Tiffany case say that it could be a buster Keaton comic movie. in TB, bond tells Felix that this whole thing is one big thriller story for the daily express which was said again in TSWLM).

The movie has some issues but it’s my 3rd favorite Bond film from Daniel’s series.

Killing Bond was the dumbest thing to ever happen to the franchise......insanity that has killed the franchise until they reboot it in about 50 years time when most if us are gone and no one will remeber this mess.

So I say its time to Put *Men* back in Charge and Bond may stand a chance so long as they Reboot back to the 1950's and make Bond, well, BOND again, a Tall, Dark, Middle Aged yet still Devastatingly Handsome, White, Invulnerable, Hard Fighting, Hard Drinking (with Benzedrine mixed in!), Hard Gambling, "Love them and Leave them alone", more than a little Misogynist ("Shut up Woman and get me my Breakfast!" -the Bond of the Books!), Aloof, Remote, Britain First Right or Wrong, Indefatiquable, WW2 Veteran, an Ice Cold Killer, and an absolute Lothario! a 1950's conservative British Hero! and always with a Pun or Quip for every Situation, as Quick with his Tongue as he is with his M1911 (I cannot see a WW2 Veteran using a Nazi Gun like the PPK, however, Bond did use an M1911 in some of the Earlier Books) or his Custom Bodied, Supercharged R-Type Continental "Locomotive". As for the women? they are just there to look pretty and Scream a lot! Foreigners? Enemies of Britain, SMERSH Stooges under Various Dictators out to Destroy the UK on Behalf of Russia, and there purely to be Massacred by Bond in the Name of Queen and Country! Make Bond BOND again! Back to the Books!

The Flash was a fantastic film. I don't care how much money it made. A great film is still a great film. It was wonderful to see Michael Keaton back as Batman.

Excellent analysis. James Bond has always been a comic book movie. Really, a spy who always makes a point of telling everyone his name? No, you make a mistake when you try to take this guy too seriously.

You don't tug on Superman's cap, you constitute into the wind, you pull the mask off that old lone ranger, and you don't kill James Bond. There was nothing right about this film right from the start and never recovered. This video hit everything right on the head. For me, this was not what I wanted for the end of the Craig era, When I realised what was about to happen I actually got up and walked out of the theater and waited for my wife , just as I walked thought the doors into the lobby there were boos . Watching the people come out of the theater I wasn't the only one who felt this way, several people were saying it was an awful ending, one said there was no point in ever seeing another Bond film again he's dead.

As much as I would love to see Henry Cavill as James Bond I don’t think he’ll get the role cause right now he might not be able to do it because of Warhammer project. It’s apparently still in the works from Amazon.

Eon betrayed the fans. You cant kill Bond. What do they do next? Reboot again? Reboot seems to be a handy plot device when you dont know what to do next. I had the feeling Eon killed him off out of spite because Daniel left. This film was awful, I saw it once, never again. I largely enjoyed Daniel Craigs Bond until this. Are Eon going to kill of every Bond when the actor has gaul to leave? Grow up.

I couldn’t agree more with your assessment. I felt totally deflated after watching it. Killing Bond was a ridiculously short sighted decision. The whole movie was a buggers muddle and felt cobbled together by a committee.

This movie was so awful it took me a week to finish watching it. Daniel Craig killed Bond, literally and figuratively.

DC said in an interview with Graham Norton, he would only come back & play Bond as long as they went with a few of HIS ideas - maybe Bond's death was one of them.

They ruined the ending of SPECTRE and did the same with NO TIME TO DIE. The franchise is dead. There is no coming back from the dead for Bond.

Daniel Craig is too short. Tom is more like a James Bond’s commanding spirit.

Agree with everything in this. Movie was great until the opening credits, then the wheels came off. Spectre was the ideal send off for Craig. They should have recast after that.

I didn’t enjoy that movie much, thanks for explaining why. In fact I’d rewatch Casino Royale endlessly rather than any of the following instalments.

I’ve enjoyed the franchise but like most franchises today, there’s not much left to do and continuing it would be an empty cash grab with diminishing returns. Someone could take bits and pieces of it and tell new stories with a new character and make something new that’s not tethered to the past.

You all know that this is just a movie?? Don’t worry about it. There is always Moonraker or YOLT to get you down to Earth again.
