Wow this is a very nice in-dept review. Very well done. This is much better than other reviews who are just copy-pasting what's on the website but they have 0 info about the real-life experience. Thanks for this amazing review. I might buy this in the future
Hey, thank you! I try to cover everything a device is capable of, hence why this one ended up being such a long video, though I do need to scale it back a little, but glad you found it useful 👍 if you do purchase it I hope it serves you well
Getting my son's one each for Xmas First one arrived today, took it out of the box but can't turn it on yet because I won't leave it alone 🤣. I can't wait to see how these effect their PC usage. Im struggling to see a future that isn't dominated by android tablets running SOC's emulating PC's. As a skint parent all i can think about is the potential savings on electricity 🤣✌️👍. Quality review sir, sub well earned.
Amazing! Well I hope your boys enjoy them. It does look like the future is heading that way, PC’s are slowly being replaced. In this day and age any savings on electric are welcome, cost of living is getting hard! Thank you for subbing and your kind words 👍
Personally, no, for me I’m a big fan of nice displays and the AMOLED display on the MP2 is so good. The Nova is an awesome tablet, especially for gamers but I’m not much of a mobile gamer so doesn’t appeal to me on that front. The MP2 was, for my use cases, a better tablet
Could you please do me a favor? Can you use the slow-motion camera of your phone to look at the screen and tell me if you noticed any black lines on the screen (PWM). This will really help me. Thanks!
@@typicaltechlad thanks! As someone who is PWM sensitive, this might be the last gaming tablet I can own for a very long time as everything is turning into OLED (which is like shooting laser into my eyes).
I am interested in turning my red magic nova tablet into a windows 11 arm laptop, kind of. Can anyone test/back my theory? imagine the performance/dollar ratio for new gen of arm laptops.
@VegitoBlackityBlack no shot, lmfao!!! if you can will you please source the link please. Just not sure if my steam Library will be supported on arm version of windows
Ah, I just realised I had it set to high and not uncapped, which would have let it hit 120fps 🤦♂️ well I guess I haven’t done the best job of showing gaming on this tablet, my bad
@@ghenevoejovi8964 but clearly a lot more stable than warzone. But again if this limitation is because software limitation not hardware, then you're right it's maybe pointless to be tested, because my main reason why I want this tablet to be tasted with codm to see if it can play on very high resolution with ultra fps like ipad pro m4.
No SD card expansion (hello, 800GB emulator & Roms collection!) And no 3.5mm headphone jack...totally shit omissions for a supposedly gaming focused tablet. No sale from me.
Thank you, I will look into emulation and include testing in future videos. I was trying to keep it more simple with games on the Play Store, I mean yes these games do run on most android phones but the main takeaway was that they run on the highest graphics settings with high and sustained FPS and good temperature control
Do you have any recommendations for emulators? I had actually tinkered with some in the past on other devices but they were very buggy and crashed often

First and that's prolly better than those new gen iPads and Tablets and that screen feature at the back looks sick
ipad pro m4 is 10x better than this shit
Redmagic nova tablet has a case cover for wake up sensory and magnetic keyboard. You said everything but only those feature missing..
Yes I mentioned I wasn’t able to purchase the cover/keyboard as it wasn’t in stock, but thank you for mentioning their functionality 👍
would you pick this over the honor magicpad 2?

no expansion sd card is a deal breaker for me. as an emulator gamer, its a must have!
I have to buy it for christmas❤❤❤
Hopefully you can 👍

Hi, I did so, with both 120fps and 240fps and didn’t see any black lines/flickering at all, hope that helps 👍

Gonna wait till Black Friday might be on sale
That charging brick 😂 But hey....STICKERS!
🤣
Next version might be it
Snapdragon 8 elite
Oled screen
Doubt they'll add an sd card.
We can hope
where did you hear?
SD is done
And 900 price
@@rodolfogenovese7042 sadly need to wait till next year.
Does the pen and key board comes when you the tab or you still need to purchase the pen and keyboard
Pen and keyboard are separate purchases
Does cooler come with the tablet
no

Seen someone in the comments somewhere saying they did this. They get over 90fps on gta5

@@outlawisbae7547 I have no idea which video it was but it was one of the first videos talking about this tablet when it became available.
@@outlawisbae7547 They were probably running it at 800p or something and medium settings but it's possible they could have been running it better.
Where do you buy this from ?
From official Redmagic website
Use wuthering waves is more demanding than GI
Will test this in a future video. Thanks!
Good job man 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Is this DTS x ultra different from other DTS x ultra where is selection u can use wide front side to side audio options

Can you test New State on the tablet please 😮
can it output 120hz to the external display?
Hi, not sure sorry, my adapter only supports up to 4K 30hz and I can’t find any information on what the nova actually supports
Thanks mister
Is it have bypass Charging?
Yep
Yes it does, I show this in the battery chapter
it will be better if you test it by playing CODM instead of warzone
Hey, since the release of the Warzone I’ve mainly used that for my gaming demos. Any reason why CODM would be better? Thanks 👍
I disagree...CODM has Android limitations like lower resolution lower FPS in BR. So it's not a good gaming to really test the power of this device
Warzone takes more power then codm that why people use it to test out the device @ghenevoejovi8964

Codm isn’t demanding, of course it’s going to run codm well. WZM is demanding so it makes more sense testing the more demanding game

No cellular 😢
use hotspot or cellular Adapter simple
If this was truly "for Gamers" there wouldn't be a lcd screen. Samsung dex would be a better option.

why test game that can run on most android phone......
