Thank you for being such good people. There is so much bad stuff going on in the world,it is a breath of fresh air to find people who are living a Christ-like life.❤
When I was growing up, we didn't have a homestead. I had 2 working parents, we rented our home, my mom cleaned ALL THE TIME, and my dad was always off doing his own thing, wasn't home much. We would always make sure the house was spotless on Saturday and Sunday we would go visiting friends or family. I remember going to my Aunt and Uncle's (they were farmer's) and her house was always messy and I couldn't understand at the time why she never cleaned and let her home get so cluttered. NOW I KNOW! Being a homesteader, farmer, homeschooling and all that jazz, cleaning all the time, decluttering and staying on top of household chores just doesn't happen. The house always seems to be put on the backburner when you have animals to tend to, and when you're a teacher and especially now that i make all our food from scratch. We buy very little from the store. I try to take advantage of nasty weather day's to clean up the home. Otherwise, I just do what i can with the help of my older kids. This is life, and only the ones that live a very busy life like this seem to understand. Yeah, my downfall is folding the clean laundry, yeah that always is last on my list to do. It takes up so much precious time. 😂😂😂
So proud of u for changing your lifestyle. Your kids are so precious and I’m Proud to say you both are amazing parents’ your faith is strong! And I respect you for that!
Mike you should sew a small loop onto your hat to place your pens. The best cleaning product for cleaning any surfaces is 70% alcohol, 30% water, add 2 or 3 drops of dawn or other dush detergent mixed in a spray bottle. Clean everything from mirrors, windows, countertops, appliances, sinks, bathtubs, etc.
I think the car looks better when it's hand washed. I do mind by hand like twice a year, and pull the rear seats out and shampoo the carpets. I usually go once a week through the car wash. I'm like you, I hate water spots, so I have to dry my windows off.😂 You are teaching your kids more than they would ever learn in a public school. They will be grateful later on for all you do!
Hello all👋 Enjoy watching your great videos. You have beautiful kids!! Your daughter is growing up to be a beautiful young lady!! May God continue to Bless each of you!!❤🙏
My hubby was in the auto body business for years; he hates car washes! 😂 I love them. There's usually a point in the life of our cars where he doesn't mind the car wash any more. We usually go to the self-care car wash.
Thank you for the clarification between clearing up the actual leaven and the things in our life we need to clean up too! Fits into what I’ve been working on in my life already 🙏♥️🙏♥️
When our seven children were four years old and up we always said “Everyone grab something on your way out and put it away or throw it away!” When ever we got in the driveway. That’s how we kept the vehicle under control.
I don't remember the last time our vehicles were cleaned out inside. Usually if we're going somewhere that makes it important that we clean it. I'm ashamed to admit it but it's true.
Once apond a time ago my Dad said I couldn't wash our truck. So I washed just the passenger side. Oh we lived in northern BC close to Alaska and it was late winter lol. He made me wash his side, I'm sorry you made me remember that story just now. The moral of the story don't ever wash a truck in -20 temperature 's it sucks lol.
I found a really good CAR WASH set for my husband's father's day present last on Amazon. The best thing is the extended pole with a 10 inch brush. Game Changer.
This was the best church service I had ever been too and don’t be embarrassed you are only human things get away from us and my first car was a 77 Camaro lt it was a rust bucket blew the motor and stuck another one in but it was my car but my second one it was spotless I kept it clean then like you life happened and cars changed to our family needs
Chag Hamatzot! We took all of our leavened products to the neighbor's house & freezer giving them banana nut bread and fresh produce from the garden for their kindness. Blessings on yalls Feats of Unleavened Bread & today Day of First Fruits!! Counting the Omer to Shavuot!!! Such an exciting time of year!! Shalom shalom!
I used to hand wash my cars at least 2-3 times a month, drive down to a spot under some trees (for shade) to finish drying, waxing and detailing it, then when I got back home I would do the tires/wheels. That was many years ago, now I own an old truck and wash it about every 2 years just to knock off the top layer of crud.
My little escape gets used like a pick up from feed, soil, tons of plants, lumber and the occasional goat and chickens. I have a waterproof liner that covers from the back of the front seats to the back hatch and it has saved alot of messes.
I also might interest you I have been studying nutrition for over 50 years. Adults take 1/4 tsp of Epson salt daily to prevent a heart attack, depression, anxiety and 57 major diseases. I have taken for 27 years ended my heart problem i had for 3 years on 1st dose. Stops artritic pain in 1 hour.
I was taught from a little kid to always clean out car every time you are in and out of it. That way it is always clean. Have taught my 4 kids that too. Great habit to get into.
I have washed all my cars by hand beginning w/ a 1966 Mustang, a forgettable second Mustang, a 1978 Mustang II, a Taurus, a Freestar van and now a Pacifica van. I use water and a brush attached to the hose. Once a year, I wax my car. It is a lot easier now w/ a spray wax instead of pre-wax cleaner and then paste wax.
I pay my grandson and granddaughter to wash my truck. Nothing inside the couch or chair in my living room because they hardly get eaten on when people visit. But once in a blue moon I would find a knitting needle or crochet hook down there, haha
You won't believe this. I reached into a drawer for some keys 2 weeks ago. I had previously found a crochet hook for doilies. I forgot that it was in there. I felt a prick. When I pulled my hand out. The hook had went completely through my finger. It has almost healed up. It was scary but comical too.
When we first got married we washed it by hand and hose and waxed it too. Almost 47 years later we run it thru the car wash everyday for $42 a month. (I'm an Uber driver, hence it has to be cleaned Mon. thru Fri.).
Washing by hand gives you the opportunity to examine for dings, scratches, paint transfers from elderly people that hit your car and leave the scene without notifying you & more. We also check your tires for wear, then check & top off fluids as needed. Plus this is a good way to "clear out the cobwebs" (think of the things that are clouding your consciences, problem solving).❤❤❤
I’ll admit it I go to the car wash 🙈 even though I know it looks better to hand wash but being elderly I’m just not able to bend and move like I use to.. anyway that car looks mighty spiffy bro 😎. Great job to all the kiddos too! Been keeping DULB for 50 plus years and I had 3 kids to help me out in the early days but now it’s just me my current husband and my son helps out when he can but after his major accident in December it’s left him partially paralyzed so he wasn’t able to help this year but that’s ok we got er done! Most importantly we got the self evaluation firmly in our hearts and minds and now the real work has begun! ❤ I love lacies analogy as she cleaned the mirror! Great meditation material … I hope you all had a wonderful and spiritually fulfilling last 7 days. ❤
I do not wash my truck. Much to my husband's dismay, I just pray for rain. My honey washes it and details the inside. Our couch cushions are not removable but probably twice a year the couch gets tipped upside down and we clean under it.
raising my family would find us hand washing the car, drying it, waxing it, buffing it and then going out for lunch or dinner as a treat for a job well don! :)
When we were younger, we would wash my hand. I try to get my husband to do it now, but no, we have a membership with Mister Car Wash and we just drive-through as much as we can. I don’t clean inside but maybe once every other month but I gotta wash the car outside at leastevery other week, but sometimes I do it weekly. It depends.
My area is in a draught, so I run mine through a touchless car wash once every 2 months. Just can't do hand wash anymore. Getting old isn't fun at times!
I use a hose end sprayer with soap in it To wash my car To make sure all the soap is rinsed off I Wash it the Day before rain is predicted.😆 I'm an old lady this is the best I can do
60 years ago, I helped my dad wash the car. He said I was such a good helper, so I figured I'd be real helpful. I'll wax the car too. What I didn't know was with paste wax, your not supposed to use the whole can of wax. It was hot out, the wax dried to a white coating. Dad saw it and I bet he was just dying to yell at me. He was a bit too quiet. It took him the better part of the day to get the wax off.
OK Rule 1/ If your children bring stuff into the car they leave with it- 2/ If they eat it / drink it the containers & wrappers belong to them so they leave with it. Children are taught Tidiness by watching their Parents always remember if their room is untidy YOU have allowed it to happen. Cheers Denise- Australia
Couch..gets cleaned out every 2 weeks…a habit for me…also baking soda sprinkled on it then vacuumed in about an hour… Everyone has different “things” that bother us, but not others.
I am moving and would love to give your daughter my nice clothing! I have a Stetson jacket that I want to give a new home!!! Just a note I’ve had two kids nothing fits me anymore! Lol
We used to wash our cars by hand, but living in Southern California, with almost constant drought conditions, and high water prices, we now take them to be washed....it's cheaper!
It's clear you need a safety plan for emergencies. Figure out what you need to do with yourselves, your animals, and your property in events of storms and other issues
@MikeTheFitFarmer Yes I am. Thank you! I am enjoying watching your videos. The kids are growing up so fast!! And you all have come a long way on your farm. Thank you for blessing everyone with your loving kindness and knowledge. God Bless! Carmen
You’re raising your children so right, Mike! Another thing you’re not embarrassed by your “messiness “, I love it!!
Thank you for being such good people. There is so much bad stuff going on in the world,it is a breath of fresh air to find people who are living a Christ-like life.❤

Amazing how things change over time. lol
So proud of u for changing your lifestyle. Your kids are so precious and I’m
Proud to say you both are amazing parents’ your faith is strong! And I respect you for that!
I use a leaf blower to dry my car lol 😂 it works
I have done that too! ~ Lacie
Enjoyed the video. I enjoyed your analogy on things great story teller
You have great kids and a beautiful family! God bless you always.

Thanks for reminding us about the things that we sometimes put in front of the things that should really matter the most in life.👍
My hubby was in the auto body business for years; he hates car washes! 😂 I love them. There's usually a point in the life of our cars where he doesn't mind the car wash any more. We usually go to the self-care car wash.
I always wash my truck by hand. It's fun and gives me a sense of satisfaction as well as some much needed exercise. (I'm 79)
Thank you for the clarification between clearing up the actual leaven and the things in our life we need to clean up too! Fits into what I’ve been working on in my life already 🙏♥️🙏♥️
Yes we need to clean our lifes from all wrong things.
When our seven children were four years old and up we always said “Everyone grab something on your way out and put it away or throw it away!” When ever we got in the driveway.
That’s how we kept the vehicle under control.
Great idea!
I really enjoy it when you share your scriptures info and relate it to everyday life events.
Thank you for sharing 😊

Car wash all the way! My car is too tall and I am too old to hand wash!🥹🤗💖 Love that you

Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals and working on the homestead
I agree with the couch and another place is under the kids beds. LOL.
I used to hand wash my cars at least 2-3 times a month, drive down to a spot under some trees (for shade) to finish drying, waxing and detailing it, then when I got back home I would do the tires/wheels. I use to dust my car everyday 😂
My little escape gets used like a pick up from feed, soil, tons of plants, lumber and the occasional goat and chickens. I have a waterproof liner that covers from the back of the front seats to the back hatch and it has saved alot of messes.
Tim was totally metro when we met, and he impressed me by washing my car when we were first starting to talk. LOL You guys. :-)
That was GREAT!! I really enjoyed the way you alll made self reflextion look like fun!

I wash and dry my car by hand, the car wash near me cost $15.00!!! Love your videos❤
Yes. I had a 1975 Buick skylark. Loved washing and waxing.
I have washed all my cars by hand beginning w/ a 1966 Mustang, a forgettable second Mustang, a 1978 Mustang II, a Taurus, a Freestar van and now a Pacifica van. Yes, I just washed my car today by hand in the front of property on the grass. Also changed my windshield wiper blades. 😊
I use to love finding change under my cushions. It was a tie between change and dirty socks. Lol
Love you guys! Cannot wait until you get to add on - excited to watch the changes.
Amen
Wow. The car looks great!!
❇️💞❇️
We have the same vacuum, isn't it wonderful!!❤

Hey yall! I was a Home Health RN in rural Texas and Arkansas for years. My car was the Port-a-Pig 😜
If they left the scene after dinging your car how do you know they were elderly?
We normally go threw a car wash but does clean like hand washing ourselves....cheaper to...😊
Love this video making me smile i car wash sometimes have not done inside in years
Wonderful message 🥰
I’ll admit it I go to the car wash 🙈 even though I know it looks better to hand wash but being elderly I’m just not able to bend and move like I use to.. anyway that car looks mighty spiffy bro 😎. Mike, curious why you haven't start the new yet. Seen the video of you a lacy marking where it would go several weeks ago. What are you waiting on
Money.
I used to always wash my car by hand. Now I have coupon book for getting my car washed at Green Lantern, now called Charlie's.
Hey Carmen! Hope you are doing well!! ~ Lacie
@MikeTheFitFarmer Yes I am. Thank you! I am enjoying watching your videos. The kids are growing up so fast!! And you all have come a long way on your farm. Thank you for blessing everyone with your loving kindness and knowledge.
God Bless! Carmen
I get those embarrassing places
Everybody has that stuff under their couch. Don't be embarrassed 😊
I nearly always washed my car by hand. when I lived in America. Now I live in the land of bicycles (the Netherlands) and don't have a car.
