Lot and I have talked about looking for a new place to move. We had some good friends tell us about his house that was for rent. After checking it out, we decided to rent this amazing house. The price was right around what we were willing to spend. We were not going to pass up this great opportunity.

The house is big and beautiful! You have a nice yard, outside spigots, and porch! She is fixing it up and I could go on and on! Two car ports and it's fenced in etc! The price is so good! We have been thinking about moving to Philippines because we could live like a royal family there with my pension and our social security combined. We could keep our house in Hawaii and rent it out with a positive cash flow generating even more income. David

That looks perfect for your family, Hannah Grace looks excited! The dog is gonna love having a yard. It looks like an electric weed wacker will work for the yard. I’ve lived in apartments and I truly don’t care for them, its just nice to have your own space. It would be nice if you got the sari-sari store part too, but unless I miss my guess the owner wants to run/rent that. If so can the power be separated so you’re paying for electricity your not using, that may not be that big of a deal! I’m excited for you all, may it be a great house for you all!
If any you should buy it Brian.Angeles has a lot of room for expansion it is gonna be the next major city more modern compared to Manila.

Seems to be a very good deal, Brian. If the owner could be convinced to sell, you could have this place in 15 years or so.
A foreigner can not own property in the Philippine's, now Brian's wife can, so if you are a foreigner you only can rent the land, but I can't remember if it is 25 or 50 years, I think it is 50 years, remember you aren't dealing with America's rules here, but I wish America would have these rules where no foreigner can own land.

Nice find. For the location, size and quality of the house $387 a month is great. Where we live a one to two floor house rental can range from $250 to $500 a month. And it costs around $12,000 to build an apartment providing that you already own the land. Loving it here in the Philippines
OMG 😳 the price for your rent of big nice house 🏡 is amazing l used to paid for the same price renting house near the beach 🏖 full furniture and 2 bedrooms all air-condition TV and internet for $350 in Koh Samui Thailand 🇹🇭
And now I pay rent for 2 bedrooms apartment for $1382 a month it ridiculous and living on 2nd floor not even have any yard here in the state. we wait for COVID-19 to die out hopefully soon and we will move back to Thailand again

Lol 1.50 to 2 dollar a day for a maid job? Never !! Minimum wage is 5k excluding SSS and Philhealth with days off on weekend that's the Rule.. !!

That place is huge compared to your current place which I thought was nice as well but after seeing this new place I would be all over it myself. Rent here in the states are rising so high its almost criminal. Your a blessed man with a good family and now you have a wonderful house.

To bad for the madame lady for husband passing and problems with previous renters especially since they were of Filipino background. The place looks good, lots of space, garden area is a plus ( raised beds?) And it will be nice to spread out. Have you checked it out at night time to see how neighbors are? ( just a suggestion)

I like the look of the trim and windows/door. The little things make living in a house change from a good experience to a great experience. I think it is a very good price for the location. I am paying a lot more for my house in the US. I am going to try out a few more places in the PH before making the big move.
Hey Brian, congratulations. I think you scored a good price for that house. My thoughts, however, are about the distance from Hanna Grace's school (will she have to transfer), the sari, sari store (will you still keep it in operation). The other things that come to mind are the furniture moving, proximity to stores, etc. and all that sort of stuff. But as far as the house and price and what you're getting, I say you scored a winner there. Good luck, and we'll watch along with you as you begin this new chapter in Angeles City.

I don't know why a lot of folks are saying the house is too big for you... it is only a two bedroom with a den, and you need the den for an office. It looks just right to me.
