a GREAT boat, but I question the Merc's, maybe I am out of date--I truly hope so--because if you spend that much, you deserve power plants that are top notch. I have always questioned Mercury outboards, though some of them are built (or were built) by Yamaha. I don't know about these.

Is it possible to mount a 72” minnkota on the front? Looks like you were shooting out at Muskegon.
If you look at our 250 Alaskan video we put a 87" minnkota on that one which would also work for the 270.

The 270s are 100 for the boat and about 17 per engine.

That’s the best location for the head it needs to have a sink and shower and Inside entrance also extend it back two and a half feet on the port side back on the transom. I would want the kitchen set up on the starboard side and a few extra feet for a walk around pilot house another ten feet I reckon with a birth up front heck I would just have to design my own
You should check out the pacific explorer or the adventure by Hewescraft. They have a lot of those options you mentioned!
