One of my favorite concerts of all time. Fell in love with them at the time and have loved them ever since. My wife, daughter, mother in law and I saw them at around the same time on a warm summer evening in a park in Seaford Long Island. My 4 year old daughter danced in and out of the aisles on the grass in her light summer dress to Love Over and Over and Kiss And Say Goodbye. Recently, I wrote a song "Twirling" in tribute to the McGarrigles and that magical evening.
This is an awesome version of the song. It was something around this point in her career, she was working with people like Alison Krause and Jerry Douglass. It was so lovely how they all sang their parts on the final reframe. Just incredible.
where does one get this CD? I've searched for Transatlantic sessions on Amazon and discogs and they aren't available. There is a BBC site that sells them for $35 per CD with vat + shipping but there are 7-8 cds per "session" and at least 7 sessions already.
