I know of an n54 3 series that's done 300 kph and that surprised me, but to be honest these engines are capable of BIG POWER when heavily tuned and modded.

When you're doing an acceleration test you should probably keep your foot flat to the floor. It shifted early then dropped back down a gear because you weren't full throttle.

450whp? lmfao you'd sound less dumb saying 450hp to the crank he'd be lucky if it's 350whp. it's not tuned.

To go 195MPH or 315 KPH, you would need around that much power, I feel that is fairly accurate. BerlinTomek, just said the set up was done by "kompressortec" which means it was tuned. It is probably possible to go 200 mph with a car in the 450-500 hp range, but such a car would have very good aerodynamics; expensive, low-friction internal parts; and low rolling resistance tyres, which are designed to have the smallest possible contact patch like high performance bicycle tyres, and are therefore not good for handling. Read up on some physics phors.locost7.info/phors06.htm You sound dumb to say 350hp, top speed with that much power would be limited to around 160mph. I have a dyno verified 334hp Cadillac, it runs mid 13's and 4.9-5.4 second 0-60's.

Ich glaube nicht das diese leistung standfest ist.
Es gibt genug 335er die mit über 500ps rumfahren. Der hier im video hat nicht mehr als 420ps. Das ist sehr gut standhaft fahrbar im N54 motor. Ich bin mit serienladern sogar 450ps gefahren, auch standhaft :)
BosaFTW hei wolltw mal fragen ob du immernoch zufrieden mit +400ps bist. Da ich mir bald einen kaufen werde, der mhd stage 2 hat

Dein digitaler Tacho ist dem analogen Tacho angegelichen und nicht der GPS-Geschwindigkeit :-) dein Codierer sollte das umändern.

Then they should have bought a bigger radiator, my 08' STS makes 330whp, any more power and I will have to get a new radiator to prevent damage and keep reliability. Even when I floor it for 20 seconds or more at a time as I did yesterday, my temp stays constant.
Doesnt need a bigger radiator, needs a better oil cooler... Coolant temps are fine. 335s run hotter oil temps than most cars, completely normal and completely okay for the car.

Die Temperatur ist aber sehr hoch und steigt auch sehr stark an.
Montarbaur Nö, für Öl gehen bis 130°C noch klar, würde trotzdem einen Kühler nachrüsten um wieder auf 100°C zu kommen, was die normale Temperatur ohne Tuning ist.

It's not a 335i!!!! No way a 335i can rev up to 8500rpm!!! And, these shift lights on top of the tacho, are M3-DCT-only! So, it's an M3!!!
Dimitris Varsos The speedometer was changed of course because the original 335i speedo shows just 280 km/h at top speed which is senseless when you can reach 300+ km/h. Then You should hear it already by the sound... the M3 V8 sounds totally different. And last but not least... look at the rmp gauge... the M3 got his "red line" at 8250 rpm and not already at 7400 rpm like you can see it here!

Hallo berlintomek, hätte nur ne Frage an dich weil ich jetzt die Chance hätte mir einen 335i zu kaufen. Ich lese immer wieder defekte Turbos, defekte wastegate und und und.. meine Frage an dich.. lohnt sich ein 335i, oder doch einen 330i Sauger? ich sehe viele mit 185 -200.000 km.. was ist deine Erfahrung?
+Aleksander Stevanovic Die 330i mit N53 (272PS) haben auch einige Probleme (Hochdruckpumpe, Injektoren, ...) Die N52 (258 PS / Coupe 272 PS) sind da weniger anfällig. Zum N54: Achte beim Kauf darauf, dass die Wastegates nicht rasslen, ob er länger zum Anspringen braucht (Hochdruckpumpe) und auf regelmäßige Wartung. Wurden die Turbos und die Hochdruckpumpe schon getauscht ist das auch gut. Suchen würde ich bis 80-100tkm (man weiß leider nicht wie die gefahren wurden), um so weniger Vorbesitzer, um so besser. Pech kannst du immer haben, man sollte immer ein paar Tausender für solche Reparaturen (Turbos, Hochdruckpumpe, Injektoren, ... ) übrig haben, dafür hat man dann auch ne Menge Spaß mit dem Wagen! Wenn du diese Kinderkrankheiten des N54 umgehen willst, wäre ein N55 (ab 03/2010) ratsam, welche weniger Probleme haben, aber auch weniger Potential zum tunen bieten. Wenn du einen ordentlichen 335i N54/N55 findest, schlag zu!
