The Prince constantly asking for help probably comes from her character in the novel which was a 14 year old boy who played his age and how people viewed kids as helpless as an advantage. In the book (and played very well here) The Prince is smart and highly Machiavellian. The kid's downfall was his hubris and he ended up with a much worse fate than being hit by a tangerine truck.

It even contains the trope of a character being run over by a truck, which is very anime if you ask me (literally there are animes where that is the starting point of the narrative, specially isekais). All in all it was a surprisingly fun and entertaining movie, more so now if you know that it has become a meme for the singer who plays the character of The Wolf, who is a Reggeton singer known as Bad Bunny (the meme is the one where he has the cell phone with the knife in it), mainly because recently he didn't like that a fan was about to take a picture of him, he said he didn't like that people take pictures of him in android phones, only on apple phones. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How is that possible - Brad has just gone from Tokyo to Kyoto, 365 kilometers at speeds between 240-320 km/h - How could the truck travel that quickly?

I've lived in Japan for nearly 20 years now, and can attest *everything* is absolutely accurate in this film. Except for where Mt. Fuji is located. And all the train stations. And everything in the trains. And no Momomon circulating in the shinkansen. (though the toilets *are* completely like that). But a silly, hilarious movie.
The book the movie is based on had the train going from Tokyo to Morioka instead of Kyoto, which would have provided a lot more time for all the events of the movie. I'm sure it was changed because Kyoto is a far more well known city outside of Japan than Morioka is.
@@GMontag Living in Tokyo myself, I was only have a little fun with how non-Japanese the film is in actuality. At the beginning there is a kind of Bladerunner Japanese feel, which is to say not at all Japanese. And for, I guess, obvious reasons the branding was changed from JR (Japan Railway) to NSL (Nihon Speed Line, maybe? I forget, It's been a while since I saw the movie). And Tokyo Station, famously, has a red brick facade facing the Imperial Palace, which while nice, probably didn't fit the aesthetic of the movie.
Oh, this film was such a joy to watch. I loved the Kill Bill - Pulp Fiction-esque set and characters. And it was a terribly missed gag not to have Vin Diesel for a cameo role at any point:)
"Is his character just there to hit on guys?" I suspect Channing Tatum is in this in some part due to being in The Lost City with Sandra Bullock, where Brad had an extended Cameo 😅
When I first watched the trailer and saw how goofy it looked, I thought I'd hate it. It is my favorite film of 2022 and I've watched it at least three times now.
Joey King is also pretty great in The Princess - basically Die Hard meets The Raid in a fantasy kingdom. One of the forgotten hilarious action movies of the past few years.
I can't help thinking of this movie as a spiritual successor to The Mexican, which is also all about luck and destiny, also has Brad Pitt as a lovable doofus, and also has a gun that kills the people who fire it. Also none of us will ever be as cool as Hiroyuki Sanada, no matter how long we live.
I got to enjoy First-Class on a plane once. It's choice. You get real food. You get a real seat. You get constant attention regarding drinks. You feel human.

Sandra and Channing were also filming a movie together and did the came because Brady cameo’s in their movie.
8:21 Drink gets spilled -"It's the cake. It was the cake".
Yeah, clearly drinking cake is a thing.
I didn't see that last scene! Now the movie is even better.
It's also quite a cavalcade of a ride.
Cool reaction as always Simone & George, you both have a great weekend
"Is his character just there to hit on guys?"
I suspect Channing Tatum is in this in some part due to being in The Lost City with Sandra Bullock, where Brad had an extended Cameo 😅
aaron taylor johnson is actually from london its just that you guys have seen him doing an american accent previously lol
When I first watched the trailer and saw how goofy it looked, I thought I'd hate it.
It is my favorite film of 2022 and I've watched it at least three times now.
This was a great movie. Of all the cameos, I liked Karen Fukuhara = Kimiko from The Boys the best.
Also none of us will ever be as cool as Hiroyuki Sanada, no matter how long we live.
just so u no aaron taylor johnson- tangerine
is british hes played a few american roles like kick ass, quick silver etc...
This movie is an f-bomb masterpiece.
So want to see you watch Brad in 'Burn After Reading', a great Coen Brothers comedy
I got to enjoy First-Class on a plane once.
It's choice. You get real food. You get a real seat. You get constant attention regarding drinks. You feel human.
It's awesome to see that kick ass is actually doing a movie where he can use his British accent
Awesome movie. Funny commentary. Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson (Johnson, born 13 June 1990) is an English actor.
I hadn’t watch that reaction at the time because I hadn’t seen the movie yet and I had forgotten about it. Glad the algorithm brought it back to me
Brian Tyree Henry who played Lemon is American, does a pretty good British accent. Aaron Taylor-Johnson who played Tangerine is British
Tangerine is a Brit actor. Lemon is actually from North Carolina!
16:19 Shinkansen have a max speed of 240-320 km/h (150-200 mph).
great video, i also think that one of the british hitmen is the guy who played kickass too
