Some have chickens Some have birds Some even have dog sounds But MKP brings the crickets 🦗 ❤ Amazing how you heat that pot!! I’d be afraid to overheat. I once saw MKP rebuild his kiln because he made a pot to big 😂😂😂💜
You met `James Keeling` and his son from Whichford Pottery! wow. One of my fav videos is them. Amazing setup he has there and some amazing potters etc that make the whole this possible. Incredible they came up with "frost proof" earthenware pottery, that's why they are so famous matt. Wish I had been well enough to visit them: sigh. They make their pots or section in 3 moves only! isn't that amazing? Did you enjoy your visit to Whichford Pottery? By the way Matt, I have thrown and used a torch on porcelain, it wasn't really any different than any other clay.
Thank you so much! Your explanations were very clear and informative. I would love to try this, though I am afraid it will not be quite as easy as you make it look! 👍🏼
I still think your coolest videos were the ones you captured from inside the pots. This one is also very cool and gives us an idea how to do this ourselves.
The is the best thing since sliced bread right Matt? When I throw I use it on every pot. You are have been my fav potter for a long time, followed by Hsin Chuen Lin. There others but "overall" they don't compare.
SORRY I COULDN'T VIEW THIS VIDEO LIVE MATT., that's why I'm writing so much in the comments section, apologies. How come you're using rather than the usual "section method"? is there an advantage by doing it this way Matt? Will you be firing this pot in the gas kiln or electric>?

Very nice. This 70 year old potter, who cannot muscle around large lumps of clay on the wheel, is going to start coiling on a wheel.
My God, this looks like a Hitchcock movie. My hands are even sweaty. Congratulations.
This was a marathon to watch Matt, but i did end up watching it all. And enjoyed it.
Thank you :)
You’re welcome!

This is fascinating to watch. I'm sorry I missed the live stream. Thanks for sharing this in real time.
Beautiful as usual! You inspire me to try this method. When I get good at combining two pieces I might stretch the height by adding coils.
Beautiful job! Thank you!

What a master piece, amazing how you managed so much clay. Thank you for sharing ❤
TIP
if you wet and wooden bat around the pot frequently, it will stop the bat burning. I've done this many times Matt.

Well done. I’m going to try this. Might try something smaller and work my way up
First time here on your channel never seen a pot so big fabulous job
Had to come back and watch the ending. Looks fantastic. Please show us how it looks glazed, and thanks again for sharing your talent with us.
Big G Pottery: Claw method of pulling the clay each coil. Nice!
Thank you Matthew! Everything pieces ares beautiful 😻 after you finish your pieces you put in the oven? Thank you for your time ❤️
What kind of wood would you use to make a thicker bat?
I was held in suspense as you washed your hands around the pot and adjusted the overhead camera without mishap.
Really enjoyed this thank you uk
You did a great job on that❤️❤️
What do you charge for a pot that size? If you don’t mind me asking… as always beautiful work!!
I have noticed your clay is quite elastic. Is it fresh out of a bag?
I watched the wholeeeeee thing, lol. Loved watching as it mesmerizing
Looks awesome!!!
I'm new to the pottery wheel do you have any advice?
Wow…that some weight.

Wow this made me sooooo nervous. Looks great;.
Loved when you put the neck on.
👍
Enjoyed watching the replay of this video Matt.
What brand wheel would handle 150-200 lbs?
Complimenti sei bravissimo
Torching?
You 'da man!👏👏
I’m wondering, did you extrude your coils or roll them out by hand? How many pounds do you think you’ve got into the pot? Very cool!
I extrude my coils for even thickness. Probably 60-70lbs
Beautiful 😍
