This video reminds us that attention to detail is one of the most important key to success in any fields.
How curious that pottery has secret techniques. Still very interesting to watch, even if its "just" the end bit of the production. Especially the forming and adding of the spout was fascinating.

There is something incredibly meditative about watching this work. I have the feeling that the master potter feels the same, because he deliberately prolongs the working process on the potter's wheel (at least that's how it seems to me), he divides each work step into many small steps so that it looks as if he is preferably sitting in front of the rotating disk forever... He avoids any hint of "effectiveness" and thus turns his work into art, because in many respects art is the exact opposite of effectiveness...

Considering that they are made for tea, they should be food safe.
The “dye” is called a glaze.

What is that liquid for glazing and how it is made please show us 🙏
I think it's liquid clay mixed with glazing. You have to experiment with it, different types of glazes and temperatures yield different results.
