@@alileevil He didn't move under braking (in this incident), that wasn't what the black and white flag was for and it wasn't what Hamilton was complaining about either. He got the black and white flag for failing to leave space for another driver. The exact same thing Verstappen did in Austria (except Verstappen hit another car off the track). If you don't need to leave any room for a car that's literally equal alongside you, as people claimed in Austria, then why would Leclerc have to do it to a car that's not fully alongside here? People are just changing their answer based on which of their favorite drivers is involved.
In Austria max had tight inside line he understeered and touch before exit , in Monza Charles was in complete control and yet he moved underbraking didn't leave enough space for Lewis before the entry and second time after cutting the corner he literally moved in front of Lewis at very last moment , destroyed Lewis's momentum as he had to lift
@@ghhh9012 what difference does it make if he understeered? The rule doesn't say "you must leave room, unless you understeer in which case you're not responsible if you crash into another car". "Thank you guys, the Italian fans are the best fans in the world"
Wait something fishy going on...?? Pffftttt
1:19 Illegal defensive move, LOSER.
Love how hamilton complained about no cars width when one of his main defence strats is just forcing people off the track
Absolutely man
There is a difference where there is a run off area and grass. Hamilton races fair well within the limits.
@@Cal3000 oh yeah like when he forced albon into a gravel trap twice.
@@rorynell4962 You mean when Albon cut in from the outside to Hit Lewis' front tire twice? This happens quite a bit when cars try to pass on the outside in tight turns.
@@Cal3000 if thats what happened y was hamilton given a time penalty both times for not leaving space/forcing hom off the track. I think the stewards know more than you.
Hamilton uses “more power” on LeClerc
*It has no effect at all*
I think hamilton did the lock up on purpose so he will not be asked to let bottas through lmfao that would've been gold
yes
yeah, like "lewis, it's james..."
This is seriously the best defensive driving i have seen in a long long time considering leclerc had hard tyres compared to hamilton medium
I know people always like to praise overtakes and aggressive fast driving as it gets more eyeballs on tv and internet
But seriously this is masterfully executed relentless defensive driving
0:40 oh, I was expecting the "Drive to survive" title
We can see the celbrating starting..!
No one gave ham such a battle, like LEC..!
1:31
Look at Hulkenberg, he paid too much attention to the duel 🤣
Finally Charles wins and still in Italy! I love formula1 :)
More like with Hamilton lol, Bottas had no chance everyone knew that lmao
Nah if Bottas hadn't gone wide at the chicane I reckon he had a chance, not a huge one but a chance, I think between him going wide there and hearing "This is your race to win Valteri" over the radio his mental just disappeared, didn't look like he had the confidence to push as hard after going wide, that or he decided finishing the race was better than crashing out trying to beat Charles
Hamilton went right off the track.
@@TheCynicalJedi The fact he went wide right when he started to pressure is exactly the point. That's why people think he never had a chance
@@Bahamuttiamat If you don't pass you don't pass. Lewis was 35 seconds behind or 20 if you account for his pit stop. It's not ice dancing: neither one passed Charles...who had a big car advantage.
Bottas just isnt as fast simple. Hamilton extracts 100% from the car and a bit more somehow. In my view leclerc did well to defend his position and did noting wrong after all lewis put his car in a compromised position into the corner trying to overtake.
see dear non-ferrari F1 fans how passion looks like ? Winning in a Ferrari in Italy is the pinnacle of joy
But there are no non-Ferrari fans. Like Vettel said: "Everyone is a Ferrari fan, even if they say they are not a Ferrari fan, they are a Ferrari fan."
This is what we needed. This is what made F1 great in the day.
Grande Charles!!!
Epic win in Monza by Charles & Ferrari. Brilliant drive, Charles even with hard tyres kept Lewis behind for so many laps... 53 times perfect at the Parabolica in that conditions is not easy at all. Definitely a race to remember.
This is the F1 we love to see. 🏁🏆🔝
There is nothing more glorious in my opinion, than to win for Ferrari in front of the Tifosi here at Monza.
Edit: How did I get over 100 likes?!? I didn't even expect someone to see my comment. Guess that's the TH-cam algorithm then.
Yep, there is. Be Italian and win for Ferrari at Monza, putting a stamp on your WDC title and constructor's title. Yet to come :P
There is.. DOING IT LEGIT LOL
@@MagicAyrtonforever It's funny that you complain about legitimacy of this win, and you have "Ayrton" (which I assume refers to Senna?) in your nickname :P
True. For Charles there are two more great things left: winning in Monaco in front of his home crowd (they are absolutely crazy about him, postering the whole city with pictures of him^^) and winning the championship. And then: repeat it as often as you can ;) He can do all of this.
MagicAyrtonforever Alain Prost
Charles Leclerc is on Fire!😁🏆🏁
@Luke keep crying...
Luke
Found one hater named Andriasta
@Luke I mean so did Hamilton on a number of occasions but he didn't
@@justinm.1 Never been hate anybody, and never will mate... ;) except my Ex
He is just not fair to vettel but if he wins everything is ok...
2:57 Toto when Bottas fails to execute plan B and take out the race/championship leader:
The most emotional parts of this race are 3:10 and 3:23. It gives me goose bumps everytime.
1:00 a wave of nostalgia just hit me when I heard that noise
But it's nothing compaired to V8
Anyone here after Silverstone 2021?? What a race...
leclerc is a future champ, man this guy is soo fast and so brilliant, put him in a mercedes or red bull,he will clrearly equal verstappen and challenge hamilton.
Excellent battles on track! Hopefully this pattern continues on into the season.
Getting this recommended a day before the race gives some sort of hope
Last year kimi needed vettels help he screwed up.
This year charles needed his help again he screwed up.
2019 : Ferrari Vs Mercedes
2020 : Ferrari Vs Haas
That one race proves charles has what it takes, to hold off 2 Mercedes like that was exceptional
0:41 I thought I was watching "drive to survive" for sec😅
Still getting goosebumps watching this...what an epic drive it was!
Its silly how every time someone puts resistance to Lewis, he starts moaning on radio how that car is faster..
"Dangerous driving." Crashtappen smiled hearing that.
Crashtappen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am wondering if it makes sense for me to start watching the Formula 1 again since Schumi’s era. Nice job, Charles and Ferrari!
It's a shame it's all about to go downhill from here till the end of the season...
Hold your horses. Back to back wins is a huge morale booster. Ferrari might've just turned the tables and their factory could be bringing a champ winner car next.
Ferrari were expected to have the fastest car on these 2 tracks. Will be different going forward
Singapore Ferrari will likely lose to both Merc and Redbull
@@Anhvu619nana Lol that's a given. I even seriously think that both McLaren and Toro Rosso can challange Ferrari in Singapore.
Don't judge too quickly ......they might lost on remaining races ,but with good strategy , the right selections of tyres like they did it here( hard on Leclerc) and little advantages on top speed compared to the Merc....they might pull out another sensational results..... hopefully they'll continue the good performance and ............. ESPECIALLY TO VETTEL ....... PLEASE DON'T DO ANOTHER SILLY MISTAKES AND AVOID SPINNING WHILE RACING.....😁😁😁
That "Mercedes threw everything at him today" gives me goosebumps everytime
This ♥️
This is the racing we want to see!!!
And I'm happy that someone is finally making Lewis look human. Good work Charles!!!
There really has been some great racing this year 👌 awesome to see Max and Charles up there mixing it up with the Mercedes
Great stuff!
Shumachers soul got into Leclerc on this fateful day..
Unbelievable power coming from that Ferrari engine! Even with the DRS wide open the Mercs couldn't get closer!
its not the power is the lpw drag concept pf ferrari. Merc has more downforce and thata why they are better at every other track exept spa and monza. The rest of the year will be merc tracks
@@Productive_Chad True, but I think you underestimate how good that engine is. Everybody in the paddock is aware of this.
@@Productive_Chad yh low drag philosophy and a good engine . Merc with slipstream and drs couldn't get past .
Vettel in the back casually clocked 360 kmh on the main straight (with slipstream)
@@GiulioImparato he also clocked 360⁰😂
had to come back since the italian gp is this weekend 🐎 🇮🇹
Nice.... to see so many people at once
People when Verstappen punted Leclerc right off the track: "Leclerc shouldn't have been there. It was hard but fair. Leclerc's fault".
Literally the exact same people now: "Leclerc didn't leave Hamilton a space. That's over the line, should have been a penalty".
TJ32 max is way more aggressive than Lewis when it comes to overtaking. In that case max and Charles were side to side. Here Lewis was about to overtake and Charles moved under breaking which isn't allowed
Be consistent at least. At the end of the day none of this stuff should be a penalty. Let them race hard. I'm just pointing out how a lot of opinions are totally based on what drivers/teams are involved and that's totally useless.
@@TMJ32 Hard or not but racing should be always fair , leclare repeatedly broke that rules as mentioned in this article www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/formula1/49629863
Before the dark times
Here on the 31st of December 2020 waiting for the new season
Performances like this remind me Charles is gonna be a world champion one day.
This feels like young hamilton when he showed is class in 2007 looking forward some of the best championship from him in near future hope ferrari gives him a car which matches his level . Great stuff this guy have in him
Dangerous driving? Because you aren't winning? Shut up, you're getting a tow this time.
I thought the same when I heard Hamilton's radio message when he was side by side with Leclerc, I just thought "Why is he complaining like a little bitch? You're supposed to be racing and you're doing just that"
Because FIA and the team Mercedes itself are controlling hamboy, they are the reason for everything since 2014. People keep saying I'm full of crap with this story, well I'm not. Actions speaks for themselves. When we look at Rosberg and Bottas they are totally different because they are not under their control. Ham is and he reports when things are a little off course for him, the poor asshole, he reports so that they can do something. Fucking FIA/FOM and their scripts corruptions.
it was dangerous driving because Lec was changing lines too many times, that's why the stewards show lec the white and black flag but it was great racing anyway
It just shows that LH is a crying baby!!!...
All the race was so legit!!!...
@@carlitoxb110 Extreme sports are supposed to be dangerous, if the drivers can't accept that they might aswell quit, look at what the riders do in MotoGP, Most of the time its even more aggresive than what Leclerc did here and they dont get penalized. and thank fuck Leclerc defended as aggresively as he did, reminded Hamilton what racing truly is.
"Save private Leclerc, remastered 2019 version"
This was absolutely brilliant defending from Charles
Stfu, he deserved 2 penalties at least.
