The signings of Obi Martin, Kone, Lusale and Overy? Exciting. U18s smashing the league again? Exciting. U21s players developing? Exciting. Carrington right now is in such a good place wherever you look and that's definitely something to smile about.
The United academy has some very exciting young players coming through. It's always thrilling for fans when new young players are signed, but let's not get carried away just yet. The academy already has players who are better than some of those recently signed. Kamason is better than Overy, Mantato is better than Lusale, and Obi Martin has mainly benefitted from his size at youth level; I would choose Biancheri over him.
This is why I back ten hag, one of the best managers in promoting young talents. People who he is biased have no clue. He benched is own signings like antony, eriksen, mount and gave time to players like mainoo and gaarnacho, who are actually deserving.
He came to South Devon and played a few games for a small local team to me called Newton Abbot Spurs, prior to signing for Utd. Excited to follow his journey now.
I hope Sir Jim stays with us long enough to see the boys grow together and show what they could become. I always had high hopes for the kids over the years.
Music to my ears this is. This is exactly how United should be operating bringing our own youngsters through aswell as signing the best talent from both home & aboard instead of all these big name players that barely work out. We build players we develop them it's who we are & under the new direction of Ineos expect us to carry on with this new structure. The likes of Sverre Nypan & Chris Rigg in January is a must while expect us to keep a very close eye on Tyler Dibling aswell to add to already incredible talent we have at the club
Saw my mate the other day, said to me he'd seen the White Pele. So, I asked, "who is he?" He goes by the name of Kai Rooney. Remember the name. I know it's still too soon to get excited, but I can't wait to see Baby Wazza in the U18s. From the little I've seen, he's not fallen far from the tree.
I think that is the best way to bring back the first team where it was . Barcelona now is making a good results and is a good team , most of the players are from their under 18 and they cost them less than bring players outside the club. If the academy keep on developing young players, this will help a lot more for first team.
If they are in fact wanting to bring Kone, into the first team, we may well see him getting his debut and running out in front of a Packed out OT, and playing in the Euro or Cup games
The future is definitely bright at La Carrington. Even more so when you have Christopher Vivell and Jason Wilcox adding to the awesome work Adam Lawrence and Travis Binnion are doing. Top work with this vid as always.
The correct pronunciation of LUSALE is not “Lusell” but LU- SA- LEH its an indigenous Zambian name. And im proud to have the lad representing the United academy 👏
I will say this once man united we have the best team, after five games everyone will know everyone in the team and our game will be in motion i trust will win premier league and qualify UEFA uropa will reach semi finals
Shame that most of them are not ready in the problem positions like full back and CDM as we really need to make more use of our youngters in the coming years
And I have a strong feeling Nypan is joining us by January. It will be a big crime if we don't get him. He is head above shoulders on everything we have.
That my friend is very, very debatable. Undoubtedly they're in a very good spot now and bringing in some great talent. But best in the world and always have been that's direspectful to the youth academies of clubs like Barcelona and Ajax to start with and I'm sure we can add a few more clubs to that list.
I'll keep saying this, EtH has never really been the problem at United cos you can obviously see the chances created. The players need to be more clinical.
It’s a shame that how the eufa youth league works our u18s would play in it :( hoepfully they will be in it next year would love to see what our crop could do in Europe
They are so good but if you take off your Glazing hat and be objective Garnacho doesn’t have anything to his game. Because he was pushed into the team and found one way of scoring and that’s it. This good under 18 players should be sent over to championship teams for experience
There is 17 year old Barca 1st team and he plays for Spain’s national team where he is pulling down trees with his performance. These 17 year olds can do it; throw them in the 1st team now.
Pls dont act like we just signed the likes of an Anselmino, Estevao or Paez for the Academy. These are all little kids and no one knows whats going to happen in the future. Because in the end even with all his talent he couldnt make it at Dortmund. So this summer he got a loan to Nizza with a buy option.
Our academy is equally qualiyy, the only difference is we do not know how to sell players. We have had the likes of Greenwood, James Garner, Elanga, Kambwala, Tuanzebe and many more. The only difference us Chelsea and City sell better not that they have a better academy

True
I watch the academy unlike Ten Wilcox watches the academy Williams scored 19 goals on the wing yet Ten never even took him on tour
Bûllshît. Promoting youth and relegating the first team 😂
I'm just in awe of the under 18s they are magnificent
Perth glory fan here I'm really proud of James overy and the move he made he can do big things in his career
what sort of player is he?

@@Sossijvery very very attacking. Kyle Walker regen I’d say. Very poor defensive positioning but super quick and always wanting to run down the wing.

Our academy is actually really amazing
Shea Lacey - 17
Leny Yoro - 18
Chido Obi Martin - 16
Samuel Lusalle - 16
Sekou Kone - 18
Harry Amass - 17
Kobbie Mainoo - 19
Toby Collyer - 20
Daniel Gore - 20
Eathen Wheatley - 18
Totally agree 👍 👏 👌
Sverre Nypan..from Norway...we should get this kid ASAP... future Bruno replacement...!

Love to see the kids go far in the EFL Cup. Beating Bsrnsley away, and now Doncaster away shows that they shouldn't be scared of anyone
