Hi! I am architect and wanna buy Dell Precision M3571 i7-12700H 64Gb 1TB. Do you recommand? I am also using archicad autocad phothop 3dsmax lumion. Coudnt find any laptop -if not consider gamer laptops-? Thank you
Hey, what GPU does the 3571 has? If it has something like an A2000 it would be ok. It depends on how big are the models you are working with. But as my experience with the 3581, at least the computer is very reliable. Thanks for watching!
@@JorgeMoralesAv thank you for your feedback. M3571 has A1000. If possible, could you enlighten me on this issue? Most architects around me use gaming PCs with high performance RTX (4060-4070) graphics cards and HX series i7-i9 processors. But workstations like Dell Precision or Lenovo Thinkbook, which are known to be more suitable for architects, have H series processors and graphics cards like A1000, A2000. So it's hard to choose which option is more suitable for me. Thank you,
Hi, I watched this video and the Precision 7680 Workstation video you made in which you advised not to buy it. What would then be your recommended workstation for a mid level user using mostly 2d cad, excel and some engineering FEM software? thanks
Hey, yes, it is supported. Just be sure to update to the latest BIOS and have two of the same 48gb RAM modules. It should work without issues. At least mine worked immediately just after installing the 96gb RAM. Thanks for watching!
Dear Morales, Hi... I have a question and is very importan to me. I have HP OMEN laptop with below spec: 13900Hx 32Gb-DDR5-5600 GEFORCE RTX 4060 My question is can i use Ansys Software (mechanical) GPGPU capability for solving or NO?!? If no, please let me know which laptop for Ansys? (right now solving time is near 40 hours). Thanks in Advance.
Hi, you can definitely use the 4060 to speed up Ansys mechanical. Check out one of my other videos to enable GPU capabilities for Ansys if you do not have a recommended Quadro or RTX professional GPU. Depending on the size of your model and the VRAM of the 4060 it may help. Thanks for watching!
In Dell website's review lot of complaints are there regarding thermal issues, battery draining issue after 1 year, color coating removal after some days. First two are serious issues.
My Precision 3581 have: Intel i9 / 64 Gb Ram / 1 Tb SSD/ Nvidia RTX 2000 ada Generation.... I'm lovin' working rendering videos/photos, Unreal 5, V-Ray, Sketchup Pro, Irricad, Autocad and QGis. Congrants your video!
Wow, so you are using Gis software, I want one of this for Arcgis pro and Civil 3D, maybe Revit, how is your experience so far?
@@vivianlopez5202 As expected... nothing special. It's much faster to complete the work and the more refined details of the volume of the objects.

nice review, I am planning to buy this, the best part is Cpu usuage is very low.
*This model contains only one fan and two heat pipes. During 3D CAD work, the GPU is between 55-60°C*
Is it much or less compare to others

Nice review, thank you! Does this model have 2 NVME SSD slots? 2280 or 2230?

Nice review! I am wondering, did you just put 64GB + 32GB modules and it works? Is this combination supported? Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Does the laptop have good temps under medium to heavy load?
Which is battery work time?

How is it possible that you have 96GB of RAM? Dell states that max 64GB is supported
You can just install 2x 48 GB DDR5 SODIMM modules and with the latest Dell Bios will automatically work. Thanks for watching!
