You are the 1st video that I have found that filmed the full steps on how to do this, from a novice POV (meaning myself). So many videos expect you to already know so many things. I love how you took the time to break and down and show every step! Thank you! 😍🤩🥰🙏 I Subscribed to your channel! Your video was awesome!
Hey man what did you do with the white wire for the quick connect? It was not attached to anything when you put the red wires together but when you go to the pump it was spliced with something else?
Those quick connects - did you cut off the other side? Then spliced in to the side you cut off? I don’t remember hearing you say you cut that end off. Maybe I overlooked it.
Hi, Question: Is it better to have a separate battery for the 12v pump? Or can you use the same battery that runs your electric hose reels and 8.0 gpm pressure washer.
I really like this video I got every single step until now I’m stuck at right after you splice the wires to the wire quick connect then you end up with the white wire also spliced to the wire and I’m so confused right now man can you help me out ?
Please help how do you turn it off when not pressing on the gun to wash, like how can you make it stop so when you dont press on trigger wont keep building pressure
The pump has an internal pressure switch that will automatically shut off the pump when you stop spraying. If yours is still running you most likely have a leak somewhere
I've definitely thought about doing something like that! But if you're looking for something already built check out Blue Line pressure washing. He builds equipment and is right up the road in Martinsburg WV. He's got good info on TH-cam as well.
Any deep cycle marine battery will work. Like he said in the video you can get a small $60 one from Walmart. That’s what I got and it’s been working fine for me
How did this setup end up working out since you made this video? I read that you should put a 30amp fuse after the battery between the battery and switch.... what do you think?
You technically don't need it but it makes rinsing way faster and easier. You can leave the softwash hose set to your house wash mix and then rinse with the pressure washer. This means you'll have two separate hoses out in the yard with you but it makes for a way smoother operation.

The white wire of the quick disconnect gets connected to the negative terminal on the battery

I see you're using the hose real for storage only.. How are you hooking up to pump.

Handy when the pump comes with fuse . Nice work
Can you plumb a 12 v and a 24 v pump UP to The same hose reel ?
Does anybody know if i can use a 1/2 hose for a 5.5 pump for softwash?
How did you choose your battery and what did you look for?

You got a link for those toggle switches?
Tractor supply
What size hose are you running off your pump into your manifold
1/2 inch
Does your system have a water tank or you run off a garden hose
Its a 30 gallon tank that's constantly back fed by a garden hose. This is most commonly referred to as a buffer tank.
Can you share with us the information for the charger?

This one was a 35A switch
@@cardinalexteriorcleaning3146 thank you 👍
Okokok I see that car wash editing
Nice set up man so you really don't need a Honda engine for a soft wash?
