I grabbed it straight away. Brilliant! The Loop Engine Listener makes it very easy to use on my favorite Vst sounds. Looking forward to future enhancements. It could respond to Midi chords played from my keyboard just as the arpeggiator does on most synths.
Thanks for such a great tutorial. I'm loving it after just a short time playing with it. A lot to learn, but getting there in a short time. A steal at the price, btw!
I picked this up on PB. Thanks for making this video, because the interface itself is not that intuitive tbh. The chords landing on the downbeat like others have mentioned do make it a challenge, but if you export the midi you can play around with start points in the measure... not a huge deal breaker at 30 bucks.
The one chord per measure restriction seems odd for a plugin meant to assist in song creation. I hope you'll consider updating the plugin for custom chord lengths and timing. I would continue to use this unique approach for ideas.
@@w.a.production Improved and then sold as an all new plugin? Ive bought this plugin like 3 times. Every time ive bought it a better version is released and I have to pay to upgrade.
Interesting tutorial. Can you use this in real time? I would like to use something like this live with Mainstage, so can I play chords into it or do they have to be pre recorded? Also what happens if I am syncopating the chords? Cheers!
Hi there -- you indeed can use this in real time. I would try Loop Engine 2 to take advantage of the new features. You can't play chords into it (it doesn't read MIDI, only generates it), but you can trigger changes on the fly. I'd suggest downloading the free demo and seeing if it fits your needs.
Great if you don't mind that every chord in your progression has to fall on the first beat of the bar and that one is unable to alter any of the chords to play rhythmically without doing it manually in the piano roll after exporting the midi.
