Does the ultrasonic humidifier work well with this even in a low humidity, temperature environment? I’ve found the big limiter for such launchers is the fact that they don’t work well in colder climates. Can you verify if this problem is solved via ultrasonic humidifier ?
@@PlasmaFreak NEVER use denatured alcohol. May contain methanol. It causes permanent nerve damage And in an aerosol state, it is not significantly affected by the environment.
All this time I was wondering how these projectiles where being propelled, I thought it was compressed air or co2... interesting now I know why they have SOO much energy from my estimates, I mean achieving the same propulsion with compressed air is a bit of a challenge.
You got a really nice system to load the launcher. I guess good old fashioned compressed air would be a lot less work and a lot more consistent though.
I would like to see how thing APFSDS round will deal with frozen sculptural clay... Because it will be like real armor! I have seen a guy who was (sad) creating tanks out of sculptural clay and then he destroyes them with his pneumatic rifle.. The spark plug is optional, and the only thing you can print is the connector. If you have basic 3D CAD skills, you can make it. Barrel - Connector - Bottle that's all
Interested in seeing you work with different materials now, possibly use steel/lead inserts in the shafts.

Why not use a wooden dowel or Delrin rod for the shaft of the APFSDS so if something breaks you only have to print the head and tail?
