Incredible restore on a well deserving piece of automotive history.
f.y.i. The external starter cart for the SR-71 actually contained two Buick Nail Heads that were "coupled" together, doubling the carts' starting torque. (Equip. name: AG330 Start Cart)

I remember that fact about using that engine to start the SR 71 blackbird. That is a fact by the way

Btw, they needed 2, yes, 2!, of those engines hooked up together to start the SR-71, and the starting of the Blackbird destroyed so many of them, that they are now hard to find.

@@quagmiredavis4117 my youngest brother at sixteen in the mid '90's wanted a '64 Impala. The whole Dr Dre thing I guess. Dad found a Red SS in very nice condition, solid body, 283 Powerglide. The first chance he got, he butchered the dash to put a stereo in it! I couldn't believe it. Before long, he quickly tired of the car and wanted something modern with A/C and P/W, a Acura it was. Yes he was a spoiled brat. I started out with a '62 Ford F100. Brush Painted blue when I bought it. I paid $600 I had saved. 312 bulldog 4 speed though. Good truck. :-)
