I have no memories of things like this, but since I'm working on a project that is very 80s stylized this is a life saver. The vibes, the graphics, the effects, everything. Thank you so much!!
At least kids nowadays are smarter. You have to admit that all the junk shown in these commercials were just a big waste of money for our parents. Producing no real benefit in us. I remember my dad used to hate every time I asked him and my mom to buy this trash for me. As a kid, I didn't understand why he was like that, but now I'm an adult, I totally get it.
@@Cerdo_asquerosoWTF Are you whining about. These toys promoted creativity and imagination. Nowadays, toys are poorly sculpted badly. Put together and cost three or four times as much. Most kids are entranced by video games.
Fun Fact: The new characters at 1:26 became known as the Badballs in the Madballs pilot episode Escape From Orb, which sadly never started the series, other than the second episode Madballs Gross Jokes.
Wow, 00:45 - I remember getting that Beetlejuice for what must have been my 5th birthday. Pretty odd choice for the folks to film that commercial to not demonstrate that the Beetlejuice head comes off. It was basically pressed on like a pencil topper. When you took it off, it was this weird looking green worm with yellow hair, and his tongue sticking out. And on his back, it had this plastic tab that stuck out and ran the length of the doll's spine. So you could put your thumb on it and slide it up and down Beetlejuice's back. The tab was part of the worm head piece, so when you slid it up and down, the worm head moved up and down it looked like it got longer and shorter. I believe Kenner was the company that produced those.
Toxic crusader's toys led us to watching the movie. Well at least part of it before dad yanked it out. Should have been some kind of warning on that 😂.
4:34 WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS NARRATOR DOING WHILE RECORDING THE COMMERCIAL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂#LOL
was reading about these toys on google and saw that the company that made breath blasters got into trouble because the chemicals used to make the stinky breath were toxic and kids who breathed the fumes in were getting sick!!
Help me out, I'm trying to remember some old monster/creature toys from the 90s (or late 80s). One of them is like a big-nosed red monster (and buy the snot jar separately), and there was also a small blue & fat monster that squirts water out of its belly button. And another one is like a trash can-liked monster with a huge mouth (I think) and large hands. I don't remember the names or brand of those toys from my childhood. I need help remembering the name of those toys.
The alien! In the thumbnail in the bottom left side is the one that pulled his eyeball out ang traded it with a kid! It was a superball that had a red led in it hat flashed on impact! I need to know it's name!

Ahh the 80s and 90s. Better times and better toys.
Out of them toys in the commercial my fave was Kenner ghostbusters
Absolute classics!
Love these toys so much
I swear to god every toy commercial ever showed on this video I basically have all of those in my collection
The Werebears need a comeback! I even have an idea for giving them a cartoon show!
80s and 90s were so hardcore! I love it!
Life became less fun when they stopped making these.
At least kids nowadays are smarter.

@@ThatWasRad You’re welcome.😀
So much of this stuff is before my time (I was born in '93), but it's still so cool!
I actually had one of the Stretch Screamers, though.

So many trash advertised here... Now I'm an adult I understand why my dad used to hate every time I asked him and my mom to buy this trash for me.

Nowadays, the new Ghostbuster films feature a team of women.
They stopped making these, when the bratty weak generation started to pop into this world.
Loud static transitions make it unwatchable
