    I remember the first time I went to Crackle Barrel and asked for dumplings
    I was so happy thinking I was about to get a plate full of drop dumplings
    Smile straight fell from my face 🤣
    I doubt they make dumplings from scratch because this would be the cheapest, tastiest, and quickest method.
    But they probably use frozen dumplings to make rolled dumplings profitable.

      yeah we were pretty upset the first time we had them also.... we love the big fluffy drop dumplins better because thats how we were raised. thank you so much for watching and tell all your friends to watch also. take care happymama.

    Dumplings work with 2% milk. I also add a teaspoon of parsley.

    We use skim milk all the time. We use little more milk than what is called for.

    I grew up on bisquick “drop” dumplins……wen I moved to FL,they made em like like some big fluffy looking pasta noodle kine🤷‍♀️ they are flat n were cut w a pizza cutter🤷‍♀️
    All good either way…. I prefer fluffy steamed soft drop dumpling kine🤷‍♀️🤙🏽

    • @ThisandThatTN
      @ThisandThatTN  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yeah we prefer the big fluffy style, and have never really tried to fix them the other way.....although that may be something for us to try on future videos.

    I missed part one. Hope I can see it b/c part 2 was great. The guy needs to stop yakking and interrupting so much. I would rather listen to the lady cooking.
