Rage was fucking awesome in their recent Chicago show. Had to wait two years due to Covid, and I'm usually too much of an introvert to go to live shows but I loved it. Zach I think hurt his leg early in the show and still kept going and kept the energy up the entire time.

Tom Morello is up there with Hendrix & Eddie Van Halen. I VIVIDLY remember hearing Rage for the 1st time. I looked at our bass player and said, "What in the fuck is he doing?" Tom changed how we look at the guitar. Over the years, Tom has proven what a virtuoso and down-to-earth-dude he is. Oh, and then he's playin' with everyone under the sun? Big Love for that guy.

@@AllisonHagendorf As I was listening to the interview, I thought of a Bob Seger song called "Rosalie" (famously covered by the great Thin Lizzy. Rosalie Trombley was a badass music director with the "golden ear", as the story goes. You're kind of a modern-day Rosalie keeping the music alive. You got a subscription. It's wonderful when a bridge is created between different generations of artists - I'm referring to the Tom Morello-Måneskin collab here, obviously, and this is happening again now, with the young Italian rockers collaborating with Dolly Parton. Simply age-wise, she could be Morello's mother and Måneskin's grandma, but thankfully art and talent are ageless and timeless. So it's wonderful that these very different generations (and genres) of great artists are feeling an affinity with one another and reaching out to each other. It keeps the music alive and projects it towards the future... in a time in which music genres are becoming a bit too fixed. May this kind of thing keep happening!
Great interview. What a nice man! Just one thing - U2 and Bruce Springsteen were never in Eurovision I have no idea why Tom would think that. The only group ever to come out of Eurovision with great success, and who, like Måneskin, already had albums out at the time they participated, was ABBA.
