    The obvious recommendation for the Logitech would be for the iPad 10th generation as they won’t need a socket part to connect it to their iPad and can charge it with the same cable that came with their iPad.

    Just bought the Crayon. I actually like it better than the Pencil. I couldn’t get used to the pressure sensitivity, too used to drawing with an actual pencil. Drawing with the pencil tilted is how I’m used to drawing.

    Apart from the 50% price difference for the Crayon, the strongest point I am keeping it is its ability to operate concurrently across multiple ipads without the need to pair with each - an important point you missed!

      Yeah, honestly, it sucks. The pencil will always be number 1 until pressure sensitivity is equal or greater on another product. I have to constantly adjust my brushes on procreate to make up for the loss of pressure sensitivity with the crayon. I’m optimistic so what I take from it, is that when I am a better artist I’ll be able to customize with fluidity all my brushes.

    This is pretty stale information. I just bought a pencil on 5/16/24 for $24 on Amazon actually feels just like a pencil works great magnetically charges just like apples except if you lose it you are out $24 not $129. By the way, the brand new pencil with the locating feature is only Bluetooth and it only works within 33 feet provided it’s not under a cushion or something else blocking it like a wall, etc. So good luck in finding it if you lose it outside.👈👀

    If I’m spending $70 for a stylus I might as well spend $89 for the proprietary brand. Especially when it’s on sale for $89. Value is more than the dollar amount you spent on it.

    im just frustrated that apple is locking these competitors out of these features, and it isn't for a lack of them wanting these features.

    If you’re in SEA or if you can avail it in your area, just get the goojodoq gd13 pen. Its basically an apple pencil gen 2 without pressure sensitivity for less than 30 USD

    If you actually draw…..buy the Apple Pencil that is recommended for your device!! The substitution pencils will not do what you need it to on procreate as it should as you advance you’ll learn it

    The Logitech Crayon is the worst of the iPad compatible styluses in 2022, assuming you’re not a kid who can barely hold a pencil properly, which is who it was designed for.
    There are numerous Apple Pencil alternatives which all cost less than $25USD, have the same shape as the Apple Pencil 2, attach magnetically, and feature long battery lives. Like the Crayon, they lack double tap to erase and pressure sensitivity, but have tilt sensitivity and palm rejection. Plus thanks to most of them having a USB C charging port, you can attach a standard pencil grip to them, which makes the writing experience much more comfortable.

      What are the alternatives? I have no idea what is a good choice of not. I have the iPad 10th Gen (because the Air was too expensive)

    • @jayyli7204
      @jayyli7204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechToyTV I have one, trust me it works just like the Apple Pencil. My guy friend had an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and I admit the Apple Pencil feels a bit better in the hands, but the longitech stylus does the job. It uses the same technology as Apple Pencil. I recommend getting the longitech stylus. If you’re iPad still uses the 1st gen Apple Pencil.
