I was a flight attendant on her flight from Raleigh, NC, where she was filming to Atlanta to transfer to her flight to LAX just before her death. She was so charming, and sweet. She was much more petite than I would have imagined. She signed a soldiers leg cast without being asked. I was so devastated watching the news of her drowning a week or so later. I'll always remember her wonderful smile.

This has been rumored for years regarding Wagner's role in his wife's death. As far as Kirk Douglas goes, he was also linked to the disappearance of another Hollywood actress who was not famous yet. Her name was Jean Spangler. She vanished on October 7th 1949. There was talk that she was romantically involved with Douglas on the set of a movie where she was an extra. Ms. Spangler became pregnant after a brief affair with a "big Hollywood" star. She was last seen leaving her home on 10/7/49, never to be seen again. The only item recovered of hers, was a pocketbook with the straps broken off in a park miles from her home. In the purse, there was a note that read "Kirk, Can't wait any longer. Going to see Dr. Scott. It will work better this way while Mother is away." After her disappearance was announced in the press, Douglas randomly called the LA police department stating: "This is Kirk Douglas, I had nothing to do with Ms. Spangler's disappearance." Spangler's mother recalled that Douglas had picked her daughter up several times from their home. When LAPD looked for a Dr. Scott, he was located, but denied that Spangler was one of his patients. Ms. Spangler was 3 months pregnant and it is believed that she was seeking to terminate the pregnancy. Abortion was illegal in 1949, so it's plausible that Dr. Scott just denied knowing her. There are other explanations for what happened to Ms. Spangler. She could have underwent an illegal abortion and died. Being that it was against the law, she could have been "disposed" of for fear of the legal ramifications. OR, Douglas killed her because he was married at the time and didn't want this "bad press" to get out. In any event, both cases are tragic. RIP to all involved.

There is One Law. It is written as the Ten Commandments. Laws of man change, God’s law is eternal. And we shall all be judged by it. Many women die in abortions, ALL babies do, the doctors leave the ones born to die if the abortion does not kill them. Sad. Condoms were available in the 40’s. So was the rhythm method, and abstinence has always been available. NOW there are the same and many others as well, including a vasectomy!

Kirk Douglas stated in his first autobiography that he had inappropriate sexual contact with young girls, and even wrote, "I think I should have been in jail". He bragged about using sex to punish an anti-Semitic woman, referred to a 12-year-old girl as "sexy" (cue projectile vomit), and basically treated females like sex objects. Even an actress who was a friend of his said you couldn't sit next to him without him putting his hand on your leg.

Jean Spangler upcoming actress golden era. Went missing to this day not found. Left her house, car found, handbag with broken strap on a path I think. Inside a note to a Kirk. She had appeared in one of his movie's previous. Supposed she was pregnant, maybe botched abortion? Speculation was he was the father. Statements made, other ppl on set. His treatment of women came up more often than not in what I've read. Tarnishing character for some, is more important than ruining, taking someone's life to maintain power. Hollywood and otherwise. Well we all now know that Spartacus was a POS. As far as Wagner goes.... the autopsy showed no lacerations or blows to the head so Natalie was not knocked out. Wagner may have dumped her over the side and untied the diggy to make her try to crawl back into it. When she was unable to get into it she remained in the water crying for help. Burses to her legs are consistent with an attempt to get into the hard canvass raft like diggy. Since she could not swim she eventually drowned. That is what I think happened. Wagner claims she untied the diggy herself and then probably fell out when she tried to pull start the motor,.
In either event he knew she was in the water and could not swim and left her there . Definitely a criminal act here. But as we all now know there is no real justice in the USA. It is a two tiered system where the rich, powerful or well connected can get away with murder. America has declined in her values since the Creation of the Federal Reserve that is a Privately owned central bank in 1913. That bank has the exclusive right to create currency and loans it to the Govt of the USA with interest attached, The Private FED has been the real govt of the nation and its corruption rolls down hill everywhere.

I think 3 men need to spit it out as they're the ones that have answers and they know it🤬. Natalie had an affair with Warren Beatty while filming a movie way back when then rumors flew about another affair with another co-star(Chris) who just happened to be on the boat the night she died. Coincidence or planned? I don't think anyone ever asked that particular question before. I think more of the latter was the reason all 3 ended up on that ship that night and I find it extremely odd someone who was deathly afraid of water actually got on that ship. It must've involved a double team effort to accomplish that. Knowing the whole time what they(R.J. and Chris)were planning. Landing in Avalon and mooring there makes sense because of the currents(Catalina Eddy)that are created there but I'm guessing that plan was quashed when the currents didn't wash her away to open waters like was probably the plan. The amount of head trauma she had shows she took a beating before "the push" occurred, every interview has mentioned in the past.
I wonder what would happen if pics just surfaced showing the mayhem from a far? 🤔

One day she was invited to meet with this movie star about an upcoming major role. This man was a legend already, and was very powerful. … Thinking she herself was powerful and savvy, she accepted the invite. In his hotel room. She never saw it coming.
Without even discussing the film, this actor - drunk already - began making a pass at her. She politely declined, and excused herself. He wouldn’t have it. He literally threw her down, slapped the hell out of her, and ripped her clothes off. He shouted obscenities at her, continually punched and held her arms so tight he left scars and bruises.
He raped her repeatedly, spitting on her, and did permanent damage to her body. She was bleeding everywhere, with a battered face. She passed out. When she came to, the actor was still in the room gloating, and told her to come see him tomorrow night and he might give her the role. He laughed at her as she fell down, her legs so wobbly and weak. She gathered her torn clothes, and tried to walk out of the hotel and to her car - blood and semen running down her legs and bruises already forming on her face.
She could barely make it back home in her car. She wanted to kill herself, so ashamed of what happened. The damage to her psyche was permanent, and haunted her forever. Her mom said she must have made the actor mad and offended him. They called a doctor, who took her to the hospital secretly to have her treated. The studio knew, and did nothing. After all, the star actor was a money machine.
She grew into an amazing woman with a legendary career. But she never forgot, or forgave, and never got over what happened. She never named the star actor publicly, but her friends and family knew the truth. Even after marriage and kids, if she saw this actor anywhere, she would almost convulse and cry. Suzanne Finstead spent 7 years researching Natalie's biography, it explains quite a lot about her, & Hollywood at that time, where there were MANY gay actors in the closet, & it was often used to hold over their heads as actors were blacklisted who spoke up. I suspected Kirk Douglas from the book, but Lana naming him, clears that up, she was 15 & bleeding quite a bit, but her Mother wouldn't let her go to the Dr lest questions be asked, she was financially supporting the family, & her Mom was exploitative, controlling, & lived through Natalie's fame as if it were her own, basically all signs of a narcissist. Natalie was a sweet, gentle soul by all accounts. She slept with Nick Ray, 42 at the time, to get the part in Rebel without a Cause, & then was exploited by the guys in the movie, because she was under such pressure to transition from child star to teen star, she was 15 at that time as well.
A family heard a woman yelling for help & a man taunting her "What are you going to do now?" & they shone a light in the water until it went silent, sound carries significantly across water, & the family anchored nearby had no reason to lie, neither did the Caption, the cops never questioned Wagner in spite of her going missing shortly after midnight & him waiting until 6am to call the Coast Guard, & her being terrified of dark water, which was a true phobia she had all her life. Rich people often get away with things and there's nothing that can be done about it, especially 61 years after the alleged crime happened. I'm pretty sure OJ killed his ex-wife Nicole and pretty sure Robert Blake also killed his wife Bonnie....but their money allowed them to get away with it. And it is starting to look like Donald Trump is going to get away with attempting a coup on January 6th...rich people almost always get away with serious crimes. Oh yes, God knows and He will punish the evil people of the world in ways no man ever could. "Vengeance is mine said the Lord." If a person repents of their sins and accepts what Jesus did for us all on the Cross, He lived a totally sinless life and chose to be sacrificed and die for our sins & God raised from the dead 3 days later. So, in believing in Jesus' work on the Cross and God raising Him from the dead, and your repenting to Jesus of your sins, you can be saved from the eternity of hell that's awaiting all who won't believe in Jesus. He is the only way out of that awful eternity, where the worm dies not and there is gnawing & gnashing of teeth in pain! The only way to go to a wonderful eternity is in accepting Jesus' shed Blood on the Cross. His Blood covers all your sins and God sees Jesus when He looks at you, not your sins! Look up John 3:16,17 on your browser. And Romans 10:9-13, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18. "Comfort one another with these words. " Remember Jesus loves you and, "He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to The Father but by Him!"

There's no mystery. They were all hammered drunk. She likely later tried to leave the boat via the dingy and managed to instead fall into the water. Read the coroner's report and you will see that she tried hanging on to the side of the boat until she could no longer...and she drown. The only thing the others on the boat were guilty of is being too drunk/passed out to hear her if she called for help.

I always thought Robert Wagner was totally shady. I never liked seeing him on NCIS, he just was absolutely creepy, and out of his element. I can believe that maybe him and Chris Walken had a thing going, and it probably went 3 ways with Natalie involved too, a lot of celebs did that swinger thing back then. Swing activity was much more common than people realize, before the AIDS epidemic.
On a related note, I think William Shatner is shady as hell too, he had a wife that drowned in a swimming pool some years back, and I always felt that was the result of some kind of drunken fight between them where she ended up unconscious in the water. I know people worship Shatner like a god or an icon, but he just has an evil vibe to me, just like Robert Wagner.
