    I'm a Hutsul from Maramures mountains in Romania, Ruscova Valley, we still keep our dialect and traditions, even tho we live in different countries i was able to understand everything they spoke, and was surprised to tears by the song from the old lady, the hutsul song are very special and it kinda spoke to my heart. Thak you Eva for this vlog. And i salute all the hutsuls no matter where you live.

    No politics, no ideology, just simple, salt of the earth people. I envy their simple life, their healthy food and strong family.

    • @stephenschuit7880
      @stephenschuit7880 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No politics or ideology? Really, please be accurate. This area was once inhabited by large numbers of hard working Jewish people. They were rounded-up and their homes and synagogues were burned. Most were killed by their neighbors. That was during the first half of the 20th century. No politics or ideology? Hardly.

    • @kleckerklotz9620
      @kleckerklotz9620 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm sorry to say that, but I think you don't understand the term ideology. If you have an ideal imagination of something, than you have an ideology. That idea of simple, salt of earth people is nothing but ideology. What you do not see is the hardship and the "dark" side of that way of life, e.g. superstition. Every single ideology has a "dark" side. It is silly to think that one ideology is better than another. The truth is, they are just different.

    OMG, It's an amazing situation even a perplex that Babushka had never left the village and still ended up living in several different countries because these lands throughout the ages and throughout the centuries even in the last 91 years of her life have been occupied by various different powers from Austro Hungarian empire to Poland to Germany to Russia and now finally they are back in the hands of Ukraine. Babushka stood tall and all the invading powers came and left, hence the proof "The world belongs to brave"
    Wishing you a long and healthy life grandma.

    A wonderful insight into how our fellows live in Ukraine. I liked seeing them talk after a drink or two. They were so proud of all they have created. And they should be. What a great existence they have. Thank you, Eva!❤️

    Beautiful just, Eva. Well done to your vision of people living, in nature. I lived with the Sami for some time and similarly had old traditions which just sustain their beautiful existence. To me though I would have roamed the forest and mountains to extract the spirit, since that is what it does. You were quite rosy there at times, keep it up Luv Ya....

      Exactly my thoughts. What on earth is there to dislike ??? I am hoping these "dislikers" will tell us their reasons if they read this.

    • @GunnarCreutz
      @GunnarCreutz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, this is a lovely video, but a few dislikes is normal for a TH-cam video. Around 5 % dislikes is perfectly normal, and nothing to care about. There are probably several reasons for people to click dislike. 1. They dislike some of the content, for example they feel that it is too much drinking in the video. 2. They are new to the channel, just got the video recommended and found it to be of no interest to them and then they clicked "dislike" instead of "Not interested". 3. They clicked "dislike" by mistake. 4. They are having a really bad day, so they cannot enjoy the video properly, and thus clicks "dislike" because they don't realize that their bad feelings as nothing to do with the actual video.

    I'm from Germany 🇩🇪 live in the USA now and looking at these vids makes me miss Germany even more 😢
    We grew up living of the land, we had chickens, cows, pigs and farmed our own potatoes and veggies aso......
    Our family would have dinners just like these, especially on the weekends.
    I miss it sooo much 😢

      Acrually that could be a really good idea for Eva to do a video on. The state of things as they are, not what the western media tells us. I’d be willing to bet the situation is very different to that which you and I see in the media.

    I came from the Philippines and there we are also losing most of the traditions I've experienced when I was growing up, just sad. I would really like to experience a place like this, puts us back to our roots and traditions. Thank you for showing us this place, Eva. Please take care on your journeys, because not all places in this world are safe in my Military experience. Stay Safe!
