Adam talks to Seth MacFarlane one on one about his new jazz album, ‘Blue Skies’ and the 3rd season of ‘The Orville’ premiering tomorrow on Hulu. Seth explains how ‘Family Guy’ was brought back from the dead after cancellation because of DVD sales, working with Norm Macdonald on ‘The Orville’ for one of his final appearances, and how he got started in animation. They compare bad reviews they received from the same critic and relive some of Seth’s legendary Christmas parties.

But 9/11 Airlines reminds me of that tragedy.

The throat clearing tells me he's still a bit messed up from this. Even though he's saying he's fine I think he's aware of how lucky he is and is trying to play it off as a way to cope and move on.
I mean, think about it: that was a guaranteed death, about as close to a near death experience as you can get.
I love that Seth critizes when people say they "still hat work to do" and shit like that, and that's the reason they were "spared". It always rubs me the wrong way when people say that. Everyone who's life is cut short still has work to do, potential, loved ones, people to get back to and be there for.
Whether you live or die can just be freak-coincidences that have absolutely nothing to do with what you do, who you are or how skillful you are. Same with war. Being a great soldier can increase your chances of survival of course, but iin plenty situations it's just absolutely and entirely random whether you make it or not.
God elects when we’re born and when we die. If we’re to leave this world, it’s for another, better one. If we’re to remain, it is because we have work still to do.

My son loves Ted and I'm a person who's always talked about 9/11 and told him about this as always talk about it as have my own 9/11 channel .was the first plane that went into the first tower.

It's blowing me away that he wouldn't know if flight 11 was the first our second plane to hit... Like isn't that common knowledge? Especially since you were supposed to be on that flight... Don't you think you would've known this information? Idk to me seems weird. Very odd.

Yes, because all the people that died had nothing left to live for, that's why god let them die right? Weird how he picks and choose like that, let's 3000 people die in a horrific attack, engulfed in flames, choking on burning hot smoke, jumpin thousands of feet to splattering smashes on the ground just to get some brief respite from the slow torture before their inevitable deaths. But he saved Seth MacFarlane so he could make fart jokes.

it wasn't a lie, his name was on the flight manifest in an fbi report.
Both things can be true at the same time. In some videos he mentions both and they both did contribute to why he missed the flight. It's not that complicated you don't need to always dig for lies that don't even exist.
Why would he lie? He’s obviously not trying to get anything out of it. Plus his story is always the same.
