GOOD NEWS AS OF 06/24/24 THE PATCHER IS BACK! you still need to downgrade to use it tho
Sad news as of 6/12/24 the Xenoverse patcher is currently offline. This is because of the constant harassment eternity has received because it is not compatible with the new version.
Which means if you don’t already have the patcher you won’t be able to mod until he’s ready to release the next patch.
If you’re wondering what you can do right now the best thing to do is wait. Nobody knows when the patcher will be ready it could be a few weeks or a few months.
I will still be making mod tutorials and content but I will try to make it as clear as possible that mods are not easily accessible right now.
Whenever the patcher comes back I only ask to please let eternity know how grateful we are for his work because without him there would be ABSOLUTELY NO MODS!

Hot take here, but Smooth Shader, especially after the release of Breakers, always looks like XV2, but without shading. It just looks unfinished like Breakers does.
Respectfully disagree heavy, the reason breakers can look unfinished is because the models have little to no "pop" to them. Vanilla Xenoverse has decent looking models but 1. I need something new to look at after almost 10 years and 2. Xenoverse models look like the went to take a bath in essential oils. Except the new Z broly he’s the best model in the game and it’s not even close.
@TheHomiErikModding I agree the shading on every character in XV2 except for Restrained Broly do all look weird, but there are definitely some top notch cell shaded mods that would probably look more anime accurate and better overall than just straight up removing the shading entirely.

Check and see if you downgraded correctly and the Xenoverse patcher works. Also if you can tell me what errors you’re getting and maybe dm me on discord or twitter with your issues I can probably help you more thx 😁

If only I could figure out how to mod on PC, even with the tutorial videos 😭
The only issues with mods now is the downgrading process but after that it should be as easy as copy and pasting the patcher files.

Xenoverse installer? Is that different then using the Nexus with WinRAR? Please tell me it's easier to use cuz i tried watching SLOplays modding videos and I've spent at least 4 days straight tryna mod the game but I'm just straight up stuck so i deleted it all
Yes xenoverse has its own installation process. As of now mods aren’t available on the current game version so right now it goes like this
1. Downgrade the game to version 1.21
2. Install the xenoverse 2 patcher and installer
3. Install mods from the modsite on VGM
You can find xenoverse mods on nexus but you still need to install this stuff first.

You know it’s actually far easier than you think to play mods with friends 🤔
It’s basically just changing a line of code in the patcher and making sure that whoever you’re playing with doesn’t play with any mods you don’t already have installed.

No I don’t. Unleashed has some really good clash mods on the mod site for free and azura has good clash mods but you need to sub to his patreon to get those.
can you still take part in events when the game is modded?
Not at the moment no,but whenever the game and patcher are on the newest version you could do events with other modded players. Stuff like Freeza raid and the SKOT tournament should be fair game tho. You could always just mod those in if you don’t feel like waiting for the events.
Do you have to rebuy the dlc if I mod? I’m asking bc I started on Xbox and bought all dlc up to toppo and then I got a ps5 and bought all dlc again so I rather not a third time when I get my pc😂😂
Yes sadly 🥲 if it makes you feel better I had to rebuy all the dlc at least 5 times throughout my years playing xenoverse 😂
If you want just characters you can have this with xv2ins you go on slot editor you click on this suit and you click on edit after there will be dlc_1 or other number and you click on the dlc_ thing you chose dlc_def and you will have the character ONLY the character

Yeah it’s going to be tough to find for awhile since they’re no longer on the mod site. Hopefully they allow comment moderation on there soon.
