THANK YOU CHRIS! With your fix I at least managed to get the phone to back up internal storage. Dropbox backup didnt work. So since internal storage meant phone or sdcard storage I used a file manager to snoop. Helium stores its backups on the phone storage in the Carbon Folder. So I found the backups, copied them into the target phone's Carbon folder and then used that phone's Helium app to restore the backups! Hope this info may help others here. (P.S. I am using android 10 and thought that might be the cause of Helium failing but your fix proves that we CAN get helium to work in Android 10)
What exactly is broken with the Helium app? For me, it behaves strange, but I'm not sure it's broken. What worries me most is that it sends data to a remote server when I select "internal storage". Do you have any idea why it would connect to a remote server? (According to the IP it is a Google server, but it's not my Goodle Drive, I have checked that).

After that, you can plug the sd card to your new phone and restore (install app first from google play then restore data from helium).
Christopher, I have KoW app installed 3 times, Main account and two User accounts. When I try to run Helium on the User accounts it says only supported on the Main account. Excellent tutorial, very easy to follow, but I got stuck at 17:12 - no matter what I did, computer wasn't recognizing that the phone was plugged in. Reinstalled app a couple of times, went over every setting three times, it still complained it wasn't connected. I have an older phone, LG Vista 2. Any advice, by chance?

it worked, i was struggling with nox since the titanium backup wasnt accepting the root, after i did all this titanium started to work fine in nox, i opened bluestacks n checked anyway n yeah it works perfectly, wish the developer makes an update so it works on rooted android 5.1+ and above emulators... without having to use the desktop app
Did you ever figure out a way to get Helium to work on Nox 7.0? I can enable USB Debugging and I updated the three files, which allowed me to get to the next step. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to make Helium Desktop realize that I'm connected to an Emulator.
@@lenkaido1357 Unfortunate, Titanium Player unfortunately does not back up the Data of the App properly. The size alone should tell you that. FGO takes up multiple Gigabites and Titatium backs it up at 50MB. I should have realized it wouldn't work even before I tried. It's truly unfortunate. The big issue in Nox Android 7.0 even after this video is connecting it to the ADB. If it could connect to it then Helium would be able to be connected using the desktop app.

Dunno if you can still help on this at all or not, but I followed this step by step and it still doesn't work. It wants me to enable PTP, which I have done, and it continues to say it is in MITP mode. Nothing I do will let it switch, so it will not connect to the PC app. Any help on this? Huawei Mate SE is the phone I am using.
You did enable the developer options by clicking on the build number repeatedly right? if it doesnt connect i think theres a problem with your usb wire that youre using to connect the phone to pc if you have the dev options enabled you could try going there n change the "usb configuration" to ptp under "networking" while the usb is connected to pc, maybe changing it directly instead of from the notification bar will do the trick?

it worked, i was struggling with nox since the titanium backup wasnt accepting the root, after i did all this titanium started to work fine in nox, i opened bluestacks n checked anyway n yeah it works perfectly, wish the developer makes an update so it works on rooted android 5.1+ and above emulators... without having to use the desktop app
