British black men tend to prefer snowbunnies tbh. Listening to the SnG's podcast, I just knew. However, there is a limit. What they let slide on Flagrant is something different. You are allowed to have your preferences, but don't go around disparage black women or don't disrespect black women (also don't be complacent. there's a limit to what you let slide that others say).
I was looking for someone to say this! Cause their preference is clear if u watch the show. But the times I’ve seen they have never been disrespectful. And now they got caught up being like u said complacent.
And to be clear, Shane Gillis only pushed back on the Downs jokes because his brother, I think, has Downs Syndrome. He's OK with racist, sexist, LGBTQ jokes, though. As long as it's not something that directly affects them or someone they love, they don't care. As for James and Fujad, their mistake was going on the Andrew Schulz podcast in the first place. Andrew gets worse every year on the racism tip.
I loved that he did push back, but there is that element of would he have done so if he wasn't so directly affected by it. Side note - his episode on SNL is one of the funniest I've seen in recent years! That Jamaica sketch?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yes Angel!!! And Kevin, I agree! I think it’s about having integrity. King of Reads and Shayna Conde have great responses on the ShxtsNGigs response as well. Black women don’t care abt desirability, we value respect. To allow someone to denigrate not only your audience but your own community is cowardly and a slap in the face. It’s abt standing for something. They pretty much othered themselves and proved themselves to be those that are panderers and not true supporters of all in the black community. To say you were caught off guard? As Shayna Conde stated in a video response that’s where your integrity comes into play.
I don't watch them boys but that apology was sandwiched right before their podcast and they apologized to their "community" not black women. they'll be fine monetarily but they definitely treated black women as an afterthought.
After seeing more of the podcast, they also allowed them to talk trash about their own Nigerian and Trini/Irish cultures, so I'm thinking that's why they addressed the "community".
Thats cause they had more to apologize for lmao The let the Irish Disrespect slide too much too. If I was Irish I woulda been highly offended at what Andrew said. He dragged that shit too far. Like how you let this man drag your whole life and disrespect every community you’re apart of. Lmao They need to cancel themselves 😂
Part of why I ❤ this podcast is that you guys have such a measured approach to fleshing out complicated topics. You made me look at the ShxtnGigs situation differently than I did before, but with care.... with teaching-ness, with fairness, and always with love. 🙌🏾
No the people expect that kind of talk from Andrew, a white person, not with a black person. We expect when your in the company of another race who is speaking about us in that manner to defend, not laugh and go along. THAT'S THE POINT.
I had no problem with SnG's Atlanta statements. Diff culture, diff preferences. The cowardice shown during the Flagrant podcast is what bothered me. They didnt defend against the racist statements about BW or themselves. It was sad to watch.
I also didn't take issue with it. I did take issue with the woman's reply because she clearly didn't get he was still talking about her. It was to put herself above the women he deemed unbaddies which made her look silly.
They didn't defend because it's how they always felt. They like mixed and white girls. They are still wounded women when they were girls made fun of them🙄.
The women on the podcast….Lex and Drea the thing I observed was they didn’t think they were included in the “no baddies” in Atlanta. They were in Atlanta right? They didn’t say there aren’t in NATIVE Atlanta baddies. The whole I’m not offended was giving “I’m not like other girls,” real bad. They weren’t like oh she’s a baddie are you a native baddie oh, you’re from Houston or Boston.
As Houston transplants, they already hold a separatist attitude. Very much a “them” versus “us” mentality and this is coming from a neutral party from South Florida.
@@UpAndAtEmAddie yep, that was evident to me as well. I'm from neither. I just thought it was interesting that they didn't realize they were definitely in Atlanta and thus from the guys perspective, it wouldn't matter.
This!! I hope we as black women just leave the shxts n gigs content in the dust where it belongs. Don't comment. Unfollow. Unsubcribe. And if it still shows up in your social media, block, or click "don't recommend channel" . Let their preferences support them from now on.
Yall didn’t cover the S&Gs story correctly. They had an old podcast when they overtly said that black men don’t like black women and white women are the standard. The Flagrant podcast just exposed what they have already said most of the time.
Do you know what video it was, or rather how long ago this video was? I know they have like 300 videos or something so I’m not asking you to find it if you don’t remember.
James and Fuhad have outright said in the past things that make it clear that they don't really care about the feelings of black women they don't know personally, and they hardly actually care about their audience of black women. I know that they were uncomfortable, but they weren't uncomfortable enough.
Andrew Schulz even came out and said they had the ability to say what they wanted taken out of the episode and the part about black women wasn't one of those things.
The thing about S&G that people are starting to realize is that on their own podcast the have made some anti-Black women statements while in the same breath expressing their preference for white women. Again, not sure why Black women would support this. Let white women build their brand.
I think that James and Fuhad were clearly uncomfortable when Andrew made other offensive comments like about Nigerians for instance but when the black women "jokes" were said they decided to laugh along.
Angel went in and I love it. My issue on the “apology” minus all the basic surface level PR crap is how you say “there is no excuse” and then immediately start with the excuses?!? They lost me instantly there.
I remember on Making the Band Diddy had Danity Kane step out one by one and do a full spin to see if they had gained weight. 🤮 he looked at D. Woods and said, " You a burger away." 🫠 to have the audacity, authority, ability whatever word you want to use to parade people in front of you like cattle 😫 Diddy was never a walking red flag, he's the big sign you see on the side of the highway telling you there's a accident ahead and you need to change lanes. 🥴
Angel’s jokes went over their head and they seemed uncomfortable with her “full blackness” (whatever that means). That’s when I knew what category to put them in my head.🙃 I never knew them before that interview.
As a black British woman....carribean too, the black men over here have been whipped by white women for yeeaarrrssss. The carribeans have been in England since the 50s so the integration of white culture is pretty strong and for my carribean men, I remember seeing them talk bad about black girls and date white women allllll the time, especially if he was brought up in a city that is not as diverse you will naturally prefer the white woman. I watch these guys podcast simply for the mental break and lighthearted nature. I ABSOLUTELY NEVER EXPECTED them to be advocates for the black community in England let alone the states!!!! Angel there is absolutely that vibe that they don't date black women. Your from the states so you won't be able to necessarily hear the cadence of whiteness in their voice but from what I'm aware of they aren't from black black black parts of England, fuhad was like just outside of London in Dagenham and then went to Nigeria for schooling for a while then cam back and went to Manchester (main city but still very white) I meeann yikes and James Northampton oooffff, so the proximity to black culture is going to be far. I think if you was to ask black British women who support them did you expect anything different, most of us would say tbh naaaaa cuz black men over aren't so forthcoming with their blackness and pander to whites a lot and I don't know why... Well I do but you know!! I think because America is bigger thus having more support from the black women you guys wills be louder about your disappointment naturally because there is more of you but I think the lack of cultural understanding with the black British culture and the nuiances of who they are, you've completely missed and put a lot of responsibility on them when it should have been zero in the first place. Black people who live in major cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and have access to people like them on a regular basis will see who these types of guys are from the jump. Oh yhhh they speak slang but they're not mandem at all theres a roughness and grit that we have being a black brit living in poverty, that you can identify very quickly. Thats my piece on the matter, I think they'll be fine and I think they'll realise like oh shit I actually didn't realise black women rode for us that hard.
As a fellow Black british woman, you nailed it. I used to watch them for the laughs but expect nothing deep from them. The clue is in their brand name, people.

I tried to get into them after Kev and Angel interviewed them. I just couldn't. I unsubscribed like a few weeks later.
I've only ever seen their clips. I'm glad I hadn't.
Exactly! Vibes rec'd
We really don’t care about their preferences that’s not the issue. 🤦🏾♀️
🗣️Get’em Doug! Lol when Angel was goin off on ShxtNgigs 😂😂
😂😂 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yo….she flamed them back to the UK fam.
I didn't even know about this drama, but I loved every minute of Angel calling everybody out! I even went to see Flagrant cover the apology, and I'm already annoyed. They are trying to laugh it off. It's very corny. We need Angel to go over there and see if they try it!
Yayy cry session. Angel's a baby😂😂
THIS!!!
I was looking for someone to say this! Cause their preference is clear if u watch the show. But the times I’ve seen they have never been disrespectful. And now they got caught up being like u said complacent.
Don’t let these idiots define how black British men are
I just don't understand why they don't take the Jamie Foxx route and mind their preferences quietly 😕 They always have to be loud about it.
His uncle, I think, has Downs syndrome.
His uncle has Downs
I loved that he did push back, but there is that element of would he have done so if he wasn't so directly affected by it.
Side note - his episode on SNL is one of the funniest I've seen in recent years! That Jamaica sketch?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Right! He been trippin.

I’m not gonna lie. I was already heartbroken from shit and gigs. Also going through a break up and I’m just excited to see you guys post and I’m like I saw the title and I’m like did they not talk about the SNG situation because I’m like they had them on there. We was all rooting for them just for them to spit in our face is crazy Because of the podcasts that invited them on when they were barely breaking through were black like dude yall can’t be for real, but not surprised by it at all… That apology was very I’m sorry we fucked up our bag
JAMES and FUHAD never once said BLACK WOMEN…they kept saying OUR COMMUNITY. If you’re sorry TO ME…say my NAME.
There’s even more things that S&G has said about black women but those episodes got “deleted”
Yes! I was confused about why people were surprised because they have been quite clear on how they feel about black women in their earlier podcasts
If you're talking about their first 100 episodes. Those haven't been on TH-cam for awhile. Like at least from last year. But maybe even longer
Oh word??
Wow, I did not know 😮
🎯🎯🎯 I watched 1 episode after they was on here, & the vibes were OFF. They were NOT the men other ppl made them out to be... 😒😒😒
I can't wait to see the Law and Order SVU Episode on this one lol 😆😅 Olivia Benson is going to HAVE A TIME with Diddy 😂😅
I gotta start watching again 😂
I feel bad when I think this about real life events. In saying that I need a half season of SVU dedicated to this with a mashup with Organized Crime during the arrest episodes.
They already did one on him and the shooting 😂
The Diddy is gonna be the whole entire season!!

@@Rae777 yes he definitely does
@@Rae777I don't even feel like it's passivity as much as it's maintaining plausible deniability. The calculation seems to be that James can get away with more and also he's built up his persona as the more flagrant and daring one while Fuhad is the more down-to-earth, reasoned character.

And y’all haven’t even heard there OLD podcast clip of James and Fuhad DOGGING OUT black women when they first started.
oh no.
I was literally just talking about this. They have NEVER been on Black women’s side. And that’s who built they lil raggedy brand
Whaaaaattt seriously! That's a damn shame, I JUST heard of and started following them THATS OVER. DAAAAAAAAYUM 🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️
Head scarf and earrings gathered those two knucks... Thanks, Angel.
Agreed! On Angels rant at the giggles crew 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
@@sugarwaterpurple5280dang the Irish people caught it too?

I cosign Angel's reaction to ShxtsnGigs. I don't know them (Mariah Carey voice). It's clear my $ shouldn't go to them.
This!! I hope we as black women just leave the shxts n gigs content in the dust where it belongs.

I drove from Baton Rouge to Houston for the HTT tour … so happy!!!

The thing about S&G that people are starting to realize is that on their own podcast the have made some anti-Black women statements while in the same breath expressing their preference for white women. Again, not sure why Black women would support this. Let white women build their brand.
"double slaved?"
"Potato slave?"
WTF is happening?!?
I think that James and Fuhad were clearly uncomfortable when Andrew made other offensive comments like about Nigerians for instance but when the black women "jokes" were said they decided to laugh along.
Because the black women racist comments didn't apply to them. They weren't offended.
Dropped just in time for me to ignore my work.

Are you saying they give the vibe that they date black women? Not sure what you meant in that statement….or if it was a typo.
