Your wonderful chat tonight has really been life changing for us. We emigrated in 1990, feel lucky every day to be living here but have been seriously planning on going back to the UK because we miss family and friends. The more we have thought about it and tried to visualise living back there, even binge watching episodes of Escape to the Country the more we have thought we couldn't live there again. Listening to you has helped to stop us making a big mistake. Thank you so much.

I appreciate your channel. I got lucky and got a job offer. Visa was approved in a couple weeks with the company fast tracked the process. Been here little over a week now on a 482 visa. Don't want to leave this place now.

I always laugh at myself when I hear new-ish arrivals in Australia say they had to wait a very long time for their direct entry / state sponsored permanent residency (12 - 18 months) - I'm coming up to 8 years living in Sydney...... 4 visas, 3 jobs and 2 redundancies later & I'm still a frikkin temporary resident haha!! I applied via 186 TRT in 2022 so it should be coming through any month now, but still 🤦‍♀

It’s bcse the united nations are telling western countries to bring in ppl from so called developing countries. They have preference now. The west is being run from identities that have nothing good in mind for its future. Things are happening and it’s very conscripted

In 10 years time sub-space aeroplanes will get you back to UK in about two hours! Also we will have Holographic Technology, for communications. Imagine being in the centre of someone's lounge room! Not that far into the future. You could have a holographic party! During the 19th Century, many British people migrated here, never to return, but many communicated by mail.
If you have a chance, go see the Museum of Migration in Sydney.

I had two friends both move to Queensland back around the 1990s. One, just packed up the family and made the move. The other, spent two weeks up there and checked out the working environment and amenities. The first one ended up spending 8-9 months trying to get a full time job because the mindset towards Victorians was that they'd move back to Victoria after a couple of months, The second, once he decided to make the move, had all the T's crossed and the i's dotted and basically had a job and everything in place for when his family arrived. So yes, get everything done before you leave because you'll find it an uphill battle if you leave it too late.

Hi. I'm thinking to move to Australia Brisbane from Ireland. I have wife and 2 girls 2 and 5. I have a good job as a cnc programmer and my wife is self-employed as a photographer. We pay mortgage for nice house in nice area of Cork city and we like our life. I'm just looking for change and more outdoor lifestyle for my girls. And general, I think Europe is done. What do you think? Do we should do it? I'm 42 and I have just 2 years left to apply for work skilled permanent visa. Thank you and best regards.

I have 16 direct family members, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews that moved here after I arrived. Living in Brisbane, Sydney and indirect family that live on every capital. Not one of them would consider going back to Europe, whilst nice to visit they wouldn’t want to live there, no more to say! You only get one chance at life! If you are ever thought about it, then you must be considered that your kids will be better off here! No questioning it, they will be🤔! NSW in Oz 🇦🇺

In regards to Tea the reason we have crap tea is that the English tea companies decided to keep the best then ship the rubbish of to the colonies and charge a fortune for the privilege thus creating a taste for rubbish, a sad story.
