That stone is the most beautiful Ruby I have ever seen. My favorite color for Rubies. I loooove the violet iridescence of that particular stone.
I often wear my great-grandmother's ring, a 5 carat Kashmir ruby in a setting with Kimberly diamonds, very similar to this. The colour is truly beautiful.
What a fabulous treasure you've been bequeathed. Also, my condolences.
You’re walking around with a house on your finger. The great thing is, most would never know, but those that do will appreciate it.
I have a kashmir and emerald gold ring with accent diamonds. Paid 20 bucks for it in a yard sale a couple years back. Turns out that it is worth 780k. Best 20 bucks I've ever spent. Life is sweet!
Who appraised for you?
This sounds very cool
😂😂😂😂😂😂 sure thing
No one cares
There's an Old saying that springs to mind, regarding the top comment:
"Red & Green should Never be seen, except on a Pearly Queen".
There are bluish purples through that stone and its absolutely gorgeous
Wow!! A 3.82ct Kashmir ruby! Spectacular! I've been a gemologist & jewelry designer in nyc for over 25 years. I've seen incredibly rare gems. This is impressive!!
Absolutely gorgeous 💍
I am an Indian, unaware of this precious gem comes from our Kashmir. I have a cylone sapphire.. that ruby and the setting just amazing 😍
Not your kashmir
eww, it's Kashmir not India
@@Kryuhunhaput eww ???
You don't know that we have Kashmir, Pakistan occupied some part of it.
Kashmir is very much part of India.
It is like calling Texas is a country not a part of USA
@@KryuhunhaputKashmir is part of India for thousands of years. It was named after Rishi Kashyap. POK or Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, is also part of India. It was in 1980's when pakistani sponsored jihad was launched and the native Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave the valley.

I'm in love ...my engagement ring is diamond and heart shaped cornflower blue kashmir sapphire ...I love this ruby too ...❤
Absolutely gorgeous. The color is exquisite.
I've found some really nice Corundum on my property. I can hardly find any pictures of raw Corundum that is as beautiful. I'll try to post a video of them in the sunlight when I can.
That’s known as a pigeon blood ruby. Sapphire and Ruby are both the same base crystal corundum, different additional minerals give the color variations. Corundum can actually be found in a huge variety of colors with various names
color shade and saturation is like no other - unique!
Absolutely STUNNING ❤❤❤
That is the most beautiful Kashmir Ruby I have seen in forever and ever. It's stunning
Yeah, but I'd like to see what it would look like with a princess asscher, radiant, or cushion cut.
Looks Purplish Red
and nothing wrong with that. The question will be will it be more valuable than a pigeon blood red ruby from somewhere else? I bet not but for sure that ruby is more valuable than purplish red rubies from other sources.
@@rainbowstar2775 rubies aren't purplish.. the purple knocks them into the sapphire world..
@@crossbowskiss don't be an ignoramus. A purplish red corundum is a ruby coz the dominant color is red! Reddish purple is sapphire coz the dominant color is purple! Stop lecturing people about things you have no knowledge of.
That's a GOOD look😮❤
TBH to me it is right on the line of being purple sapphire and NOT red enough to be considered ruby... STILL an exceptional stone, but many will argue for lifetimes over the color of this stone, and thus, it's classification as ruby or sapphire ^_^
Absolutely gorgeous!❤
Well cut, gorgeous!
Its beautiful. What a color.
It is beautiful. Rubies are a rarity and self that alone being that large. Impressive
I love the color. STUNNING.
Omg! 😳 this Ruby is sooo beautiful!! Big love ❤️ Keep Moving Forward.
STUNNING!!!
Gorgeous. People tend to not understand why rubies don't get large (like you mentioned 90% under 1 carat). It's due to the minerals that make a ruby. They are beautiful stones.
Regular rubies are my favorite, this is spectacular, thank you so much, for the information and especially a look at this magnificent beauty!❤😊
I am Indian and never saw a more beautiful ruby! Proud that Kashmir is India ❤
Hi I'm from Kashmir...I didn't know we even had sapphires...guess it was back in the days....
Very gorgeous color
This ring is exquisite❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rubies are my birthstone so almost every year when I was growing up someone gave me a ruby piece of jewelry

Beautiful.
No words for that fire in the stone ❤
Beautiful ❤
Incredibly BEAUTIFUL
That stone is beautiful. I don’t find most rubies pretty due to their opaqueness.❤❤❤
Nice piece of glass
Exquisite
My regular rubies were very included and I changed to garnets for the look.😢
Wooow 😱😱😁👍
The mines closed TECHNICALLY but the locals still mine the mines everyday, so they are still producing plenty of these rubies
Aloha, I really enjoyed experiencing such a phenomenal stone. Just the right size for a lady’s hand. Mahalo for sharing…💗🌺💗

It's darling❤😊
Darling, insult.you are darling dear, that stone is magnificent
Amethyst gemstone
Beautiful.. in what conditions was it mined?
The name of the region Kashmir is not pronounced the same way as the fabric cashmere…you should at least know this difference , even as an American
Ooooh cashmere
Nice
Gasp!!!❤
❤
I'd like it for my crystal collection
I bet that thing ranges from 3 to 5 million dollars were I to estimate off my head. But also being a kashmir it could go for 20 mil i dont know that market enough...
How interesting!
It isn’t pronounced Cashmere, “Kush (rhymes with ‘hush’)-Meer” is how you do it. Not a pronunciation N@zi, but I just know that like all other things Indian, the wrong pronunciation would become the norm soon. Exhibit A: Curry, Karma, Yoga, Bombay.
Beautiful stone... how do we know it's a "cashmere ruby"?... cause you say so? Curious
It is certified by the Gemological Institute of America as originating in Kashmir.
All mines have very minute variances that can be picked up on heavy duty mass spectrometers that can pinpoint origin. Its costly but worth it to make sure with such stones
About as rare as diamonds.
Right?
What’s the first Ruby which is my birthstone I’ve ever really wanted
Good morning sr. I want to invite him to talk to you. In my hands I have a 10.14 carat Burmese ruby certified with the GRS company. I am a collector, it is natural, no treatments.
