I don't have an ebike, but an effective lock combination on my mountain bike has been a standard Kryptonite lock paired with a brake lock (it locks through the rotor) that also has a built-in alarm. Obviously no lock can stop a skilled lock picker, but the alarm helps mitigate that concern.
That was a great review! Very in-depth and informative. A little more technical info would help but I can get that off the website easily. Great job and after all my research I pretty sure this is the bike for me. Thanks for the review!
Nice looking e-bike and it has good features too. I thought you did a good job on displaying those features. These bikes have come a long way in the last 20 years. 👍👍😀
Great bike at a really good price! I don't see any downsides to this bike. Very nice. Thanks for the informative video. All I need now is some money! lol
Hey Steve, has any manufacturer designed an ebike that has regenerative braking? I doubt it would help with battery charging, but adjustable regeneration might help in areas with long, gradual hill descent speed.
The issue with regenerative braking in an ebike is that the brake would have to be in the hub motor vice the disc hydraulic brakes. This means that such a bike would only have full throttle power vice peddling. I’m sure it could be done, but I’ve never seen it in low cost bikes.
Well done Captain and a great review!; just a couple of observation's !!; thank goodness on the App when you clicked on the "Human" icon there wasn't another tab for "Tractor Man" !!!!; assuming this is a Chinese EBike; does the USA potential banning of all Drones / Gimbals / Etc potentially apply to this in Canada?
@@FredshoppaI thought you were “playing” silly and just asking a question you already knew the answer to. Lots of viewers do that because they love it when I reply.
You must be running out of things, ideas, or topics so "E" bikes are top trending fad of topics. Stick to your channel narrative. I subscribed to you for your alternative drones and R/C collection. Thanks
Oh, I NEVER run out of products to review. If unaware, this channel reviews Beginner Drones, FPV Drones, RC Planes, RC Helicopters, RC Radio Transmitters, RC Battery Chargers, RC Tanks, RC Cars, RC Boats, skateboards, e-scooters -and ebikes. I do have a review of an RC Lawnmower coming up. People in the RC Hobby enjoy all of the above items I mentioned, and since my channel is world wide, every viewer has their fav items that I review.
A lot of these other new electronic toys have similar power systems to their RC counterparts, just bigger. I always like seeing them. All these RC channels show the same thing, having fun with electronics.
I just wished you told the people of Ontario Canada that this bike is illegal. It does not fall under the ebike rules. It’s only a matter of time until the authorities start cracking down.Sorry for breaking your enthusiasm.
The bike is authorized to be sold in Canada and meets the requirements. Every ebike, escooter, eskateboard can be either quickly modified for increased speed, which is what most owners eventually do. This ebike allows for the 3 power modes and top speeds, thus it is up to the RIDER to adhere to any local BY-LAWS, which every Canadian City has different when it comes to such products. For example... The speed limits for your daily commute via car change as you travel. However, myself and the remainder of the human population would not tell you your car is illegal because it can exceed such speed limits due to horsepower and acceleration, but rather that you are a responsible human that, for the most part, obeys the posted speed limits. The same applies to every e-bike, e-scooter, e-skateboad. If the owner follows the common sense speeds and does not endanger anyone, then no one is the wiser.
I’m only reading the laws of the Ontario Traffic Act. The motor is larger than 500watts and the bike is capable of exceeding 32km per hr. Thus making it a moped. It doesn’t get much clearer.
@@royceparker6862my advice to you and anyone that believes certain e-bikes are “illegal” is to visit your local ebike and cycle shop. Top brand names in the cycle industry all have 750 watts or higher. Many have a speed limit assigned as that is the more important aspect. All are legally sold in Ontario.
Ok. Please take it to the local police station and have an officer give it the stamp of approval, it will make a great video. If your right I’m going to buy one.

Canada rarely bans anything (we are too polite), although I have put a motion forward to ban tractor man.
