SAW YOU GUYS IN DALLAS Y’ALL KILLED IT
Amazing record.❤️🔥
Still bumping this throughout the summer! So sick
THANK YOU FOR NEW ALBUM
my god you guys are amazing, i literally listened the record yesterday. You fucking killed it in every way
Keep on rocking🤘🏻🤘🏻
Major props to HIRS Collective for somehow assembling an all-star cast of some of my favorite hardcore artists and blending them all together so well.
playing a show with these guys on mayday. incredibly intimidated. wish me luck.
That's awesome! You're gonna kill it.
You’ll do great! Believe in you

@@zander3943 that’s a maad good pfp
Does anyone else feel weird about everything rn
@@whitetpoison just in general?
I actually got to see them in Dallas! Even though they were short several members, they still had an incredible stage presence and made sure to make use of the rest of the stage. Snippets of girly pop songs were played in between tracks to get people hype (it worked) and actually caused a mosh pit to form in front of the stage. Jenna, the vocalist, was the biggest sweetheart and even gave me a vinyl copy of the album for free since I didn’t really have the means to buy it. She even gave me a hug after I told her that it was my first live show and how much this album was doing for me. Great band, unforgettable and absolutely worth seeing live
Damn this goes hard af. Fantano making my day just a little better by shining a light on music that I otherwise probably wouldn't have heard about.
Oh shit, I found out about HIRS almost a decade ago and they make some of the best hardcore/powerviolence I’ve ever heard. Great to see HIRS is still kicking ass so much.
This album is f*cking amazing. Decent 8/10 is really good on the melon scale.
God I adore the HIRS Collective and it warms my heart to see them release a yellow flannel review. Nature is healing!
This album caught my attention initially from the Bandcamp Album of the Day and the album art stood out for me. Really exceptional and interesting listen. Glad you're covering it.
Been a fan of HIRS for years. Glad they're getting more recognition.
You would have given it a 10 if it were The His Collective
Memes aside, I’m very glad you’re covering the HIRS collective. These guys fucking slay
w pfp
Nice pfp
these guys ... 🙈 jeeeez
We are having very good scores lately, luckily we have our dear friend NAV to balance the chaos in the universe 😭🙏
Man Im really shocked that up until now I havent heard anything about this album, considering how many fantastic artists are involved in this. It slaps as hard as one would expect
Started the first track, got a nosebleed. Thanks for giving me violence in the form of pure sound melon
I'd never normally listen to this kind of music, just cuz it's so unknown to me, but I'ma give it a try cuz of this video.
Yep this is a sick album. Only complaint is that I wanted to hear some of the riffs more, wouldn't have minded if some songs were longer. Makes me realize how much I miss listening to good metal.
I didn't know that "queercore" is a thing so naturally I'm going to listen to as much of it as I can find
Also check out Mattachine, Seeyouspacecowboy, and Death Goals as well!
Mattachine goes so fucking hard, absolutely listen to them. Their split with Mikau is incredible.
Check out Thøtcrime as well.
@@BrolanTravels Thanks! Will add them to the list
I never expected this album to get reviewed but I'm so happy it got the yellow flannel
This yellow flannel is being put to work this month
hurry up and give the liturgy album a 10 already
He really said fuck liturgy huh
Maybe he’s just digesting it for a while… idk
I fear it’s going to be in YUNOREVIEW
@@art-ificialblon-die7013 It's going to be either a 9 or a 10. I can guarantee that much. After about 10 listens I'm starting to feel a 10. I gain something new every time I listen and every single piece of that album is necessary to the whole listening experience.
@@drfunkinstein1 how much are you willing to bet on that?
Always happy to see a new release from Animal Collective!
BUT THAT WOULD BE SEXIST
🙄
I'm gonna keep it 100 with you Melon. This was unlistenable for me. I tried two songs and figured that was the gist of it (which I never really could understand) but thanks for expanding my horizons and giving me a road to travel down. Although I am going to turn around. This one is not for me. Cheers mate. Keep up the hard work.
all of the artists featured on the album are definitely worth a listen! I'm familar with Full of Hell, Escuela Grind, Thou, Soul Glo and they among the top in their respective genres(which differ greatly), so its certainly a cool path to explore. Melon a real one for putting me on the Thou worship back in 2011.
Maybe hardcore just isn’t for you. Props for giving it a shot.
so glad you covered this one, it definitely needs more love
Been following this band since I saw them at a basement show back in 2019, so great to see them doing so well
Falloutboy, Lana del ray, boygenius, etc, but STILL no Zulu “a New Tomorrow”, SCOWL “How Flowers Grow”, or Drain “California Cursed”, which has been out what, over a year? Cmon Anthony, you’re really letting us down
Jeremy and Jordan being on another track together always feels legendary.
I FREAKING LOVE HIRS.
it was funny for a while, but seriously, you can’t just rate an album highly just because you enjoyed it.
Yes you can.
Finally! Melon been sleeping on this band for a whillleee.
Love you HIRS!!!!!! ❤
Love hardcore reviews
Decent 8, trans ... rights have you given this record a listen?
Liturgy review when??
BALD!
Is one of my favorite Peggy songs
Really love these guys and excited to play a show with them later this month! Come check them out if ur in the boise area
NF Hope Album Review? Royce Da 5”9 The Heaven Experience Review?
Not good
I had a feeling he would rate this album high but grindcore doesn't really do anything for me.
I dug a meter deep hole in my yard to plant a tree with only a spatula and my hands while listening to this album. 9/10 Great project would plant trees to it again
Why they don't have a page on wikipedia ?
Everyone needs to check out Get Better Records discography.
You oughta review the new Kikuo album Kikuo Miku 7 my guy! You've neglected the whole vocaloid subculture long enough man
Good to see their album did well but I’m personally still on the run from them so I can’t see myself paying a listen
Lots of yellows this month
FFS melon, 93696 has been scaring the bros for 2 weeks
Them lower screams on that Body track were 👌
I want to see more Melt Banana features in weird places
check out Squidpisser then
@@BongOfDestiny
And Cryalot's remix album, lol
Where’s the HOPE review
This man shops at stop and shop, I saw him there lol. He thought I wouldn’t know him or notice him.
Breakdown on but anyway slaps
Can you do a DJ Smokey review? His beats are nuclear fire and he's been making them for 10 years, if Dre was to be replaced, DJ Smokey would get the crown as goat of music production
make something about parcels please
review new nf album
This is the 8th album to get a flannel in a row. That has to be a record.
JUST listened to this album, like a minute ago. Bizarre. If you want another Bandcamp recommendation, try out Green Hat by Tsuzing. Great EBM also with an interesting message/background.
Looks super interesting, I’ll definitely peep it :)
Still praying for an orchid review
Where is that Liturgy review??
Hurry up and review the new Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Depeche Mode albums big man, I'm on edge!!!!!
bro just plugged in my disc for this record (just came in). firstly, octopus disc is tight asf. cool to see the record actually has clear backing with a roach or something(?) eating a strawberry shortcake. cherry on top with a screw in it;;birthday cake with a vall and chain. overall pretty tight asf
I know it’s a couple weeks old, but you should definitely review OTTTO’s debut album Life Is A Game. It has Tye Trujillo, Robert Trujillo’s son and I think they have loads of potential.
I just listened to this for the first time. Best Metal Album of 2023 imo. Kicked ass!
Missed opportunity to say "it was so hair-raising, look what happened to me" tbh
Honestly loved this record. It really has everything thrown in there but somehow it’s not a giant mess
So happy I discovered these guys :]
Will we be getting a Chlöe Bailey “In Pieces” album review?
If anyone is interested in queercore that's close to the mania of +hirs+ try Behead the Prophet No Lord Shall Live's I AM THAT GREAT AND FIERY FORCE lp
Why is it always an 8 with the flannel.
Anthony thanks for reviewing this! I want to j is your thoughts on Jaeskeese new album. I loved it
Is it not pronounced “the ‘here’s’
Collective”
This is like the 4th Yellow Flannel in a week, what is happening???
this is my crew right here❤🎉❤ always weird seeing this guy review my friends bands
Where’s liturgy

When will you do a full review on Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut - Kenny mason
Whole lotta yellow
Grabbed a couple Full of Hell records and Acacia Strain when i went to the concert. Weeping Choir, Garden of Burning Apparitions and It comes in waves. The gravebloom records were looking tight but sold out and i didnt have enough cash to grab Caustic (primitive man)
1:26 You mention Screaming Females but you haven't reviewed their new album yet. I hope you do!
So Suffer in heaven and Quest for Fire on left brain next to their counterparts.
Wild how this review has more views than songs on their album do streams on Spotify.
theneedledrop Could someone ask melon to review (any of) the following? I live in The Netherlands, so I cannot watch the stream! Thanks in advance!

If this album was by a band called the HIS collective, he would have given it a 10.
dam just saved this on bandcamp today, was gonna listen later now i got spoiled on the rating
is it 'hers' or 'heres'? I thought that, in use as a pronoun, it's pronounced 'heres' but as far as the band, I'm new to them so idk
Dude can you review Brutalismus 3000 new Album?

Daniel Caesar dropped a new album
You should review Primo Noctis from Charleston, SC. They just put out a new album called Versus Ante Meridiem. It's out on all streaming platforms. No I'm not the bassist....No I'm not shamelessly begging for an album review...ok...I am.
