As near as I can tell the Kaiess ring light has a cold shoe mount in the middle of the light. I could be wrong. I'm just looking it up on Amazon. If that is the case, what I would do is get a cold shoe to quarter inch threaded adapter (here's a good one: amzn.to/42JUu9N). Hi @HandsONreviews4u, I'm glad it helped. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. Each to his own. As a professional photographer, I can tell you that there is no substitute for quality. No matter who makes it, how much it costs, or what country it comes from. Some people think it's a waste of money to spend $43 on a tripod. I've purchased more junk equipment than anyone you know. Junk equipment has no place in my bag. Based on your needs, you may think it's crazy for a professional to spend $1200 on tripod legs and $700 on a ball head ($1900 total). Why did they do this? Because there is no substitute for quality and functionality when it matters. For us, it costs more to spend $43 on a tripod than to spend $1900 on quality one time. As I said, each to his own. It would be nice to discuss this without the dig on my TH-cam motivation of misleading people into spending more money on "Chinese" products, but I guess that's what it is for you. By chance, did you subscribe to my channel? :) Have a great day!

FYI, I review very few products but thinking of doing more for two reasons. One to make some extra money, (these videos take hours to put together. The total I get from Amazon referrals each month is a whopping $40-$50), and the other is to test and share my experience about actual use and real world practicality. As I mentioned, I've purchased a ton of junk equipment. I wish I had known about some of it ahead of time or had reviewers who were willing to share the challenges. Anyway, great dialog and I hope you share your GoPro solution. Personally, I can't do GP anymore. It's all DJI Action 3 and DJI Pocket 3 now, but I'm sure the GP users would find it helpful. I love it BUT it won't fit on my Platypod ...
Hi Jody, thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. I have a solution for you!!! :)
Here's a 3/8" female to 1/4" male adapter. This allows you to screw the adapter into your Platypod base and screw the Ulanzi phone mount into the 1/4" thread. amzn.to/3JEA7mx
Please let me know how it goes.
By chance, did you subscribe to my channel? :)
Have a great day!
Got it on Aliexpress for approx 20USD yesterday
Great to hear. I’m glad you like it. Cheers
What about top down?
Hi there, not sure what you mean? What is top down?
I just ordered mine for 35.00
Hi @leohasit, I'm glad it helped. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. By chance, did you subscribe to my channel? :)

One of the wealthiest people on the planet gets millions of dollars in free plugs everyday. One day soon your local shopping center will be a data center or distribution hub. Just do it!.
:)
its not arca swiss plate
Hi @A7mad., thank you for asking. I appreciate it. Are you able to provide me with more details? The bottom of this holder will fit into any Arca Swiss plate ball head or mount. I am not sure what you're referring to.
Please let me know and I'll see if I can help.

Have you seen Doolkin Pro magnetic laptop phone mounts? th-cam.com/video/s1rjZzyRDCc/w-d-xo.html
Nope but if it's a product that you're solid about, and want me to review it, please let me know.
@@358studios yes, we’d love to have you review it. What’s the best platform to contact you directly?
Hi there, I've taken a look at your product on Amazon. Seems like a great product, well built and good Amazon ratings... but for me personally it's not something I would use. I don't like permanently sticking anything on the back of my laptop. I can see the advantages and disadvantages.
That said, if you're interested in my honest opinion, I'd be happy to give you my opinion and review your product in a video.
Please let me know your thoughts when you have a moment.
Thanks,
Sean
You lost me when you said, iPhone !
Hahahaha! That's funny! :) Yes, it will work with Android too. :) Cheers.

So far, I'm very pleased with my Purchase 😊.

39.99 is RIDICULOUS.....I MILES BUY A WHOLE TRIPOD. Why cant TH-camrs be raw on their reviews....😮
A fair price for that 16 bucks but $43 bucks? I would tell the Chinese keep dreaming

I can surely RESPECT your professional observation. I actually sent it back to Amazon. I already have a gopro selfie stick, with a reverse gopro mount to a screw in cellphone holder adapter and a metal tripod mount I was able to lower the cost down to a little more than half of what I spent for your demonstrated travel tripod review. Being creative in times of need. So I wasn't siting you as a culprit in anyway of my decision. You want to sell and make money on reviewing stuff in your field I would imagine. I just want to tell viewers what I see is hopefully what they are looking for?
No I didnt subscribe..........🤣👍
Sounds good. Too bad you don't subscribe. Now you're gonna miss all of that wonderful, wonderful, me. :) Please think about listing your solution, with part numbers, in the comments, because if anyone in the audience is looking for another solution, maybe that helps.
Happy New Year! Cheers!

I LIKE THAT YOU RESPOND, not many TH-camrs respond in a timely fashion. If your making that much money good for you👊. I have a job and well I just like sharing my ideas 💡, making money is the last thing that I am looking for. I actually like your channel 😁
I will think about subscribing, how about that?..
LOL
Enjoy your Holiday
Lol, that's hilarious. Yeah I wish I could get my monthly bills down to 40 or 50 bucks but I still have a day job. Cheers.
