Will this be going to your main site? I have an account there and I can't find anything on Network+ on there. Thanks

Yes Network+ is currently available on our website for members. Our search function sometimes doesn't work great (the best way to use it is to put " " around what you are searching), but you can also find the course by going to Courses > CompTIA > "CompTIA Network+ (N10-007)."
      Or try this link: www.itpro.tv/courses/comptia/network-n10007/

Great video. I’m wondering if Net+ should be taken first as opposed to Sec+. Thoughts?

A traditional approach is to take A+ to get fundamental computing concepts under your belt, then Network+ as it builds the foundational networking knowledge with and increased focus on security. Then moving on to Security+ for the complete core foundational knowledge. I hope this helps with direction and thank you for watching!

Is the A+ necessary if you have general outline and knowledge into IT Knowledge Is it better to then go into the Network+ for me instead?

      @ITProTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Great question. It all depends how much experience and knowledge you currently have! Usually A+ will teach you the foundational knowledge needed for future certifications, however, it is not a prereq for Net+. My advice would be to begin studying the Net+ content and objectives and see how difficult/challenging it is. If you're understanding it well, then skip A+, but if you're struggling with the content then it would be best to go back and get your A+.
At ITProTV we have an accelerated A+ course that is meant for people who already have that foundational knowledge and just need a refresher. www.itpro.tv/courses/comptia/a-2019-accelerated/
We also have a great Network+ training course if you're interested in becoming a member: www.itpro.tv/courses/comptia/network-n10007/

hey guys, I have a question. I'm about to take the network+ certification and almost all the information that I can find details a lot of terminologies and not practice. It is me or the network+ is that ....just a bunch of concepts and little practice. I'm CCNA certificated but that test did have a lot of deeper knowledge and hands-on activities. should I be worried about simulations on the network+ or not? it seems to be easier than the CCNA

So a better way to tackle this is to take a look at "verbs" in the exam objectives of the current CompTIA Network+exam. If it uses "configures," "verifies," "implement," "demonstrate," etc. then you should make sure you can do exactly that with the topics it lists. If it uses "describes," "discuss," "lists," "define," etc. then you should be able to make a one or two sentence description or definition of what it talks about. I've earned both CCNA and Network+ each was a challenge in it's own way. The way to prepare for both is using those verbs! You will not regret doing so for any exam. Best of luck to you!

How do you pass the network+ exam faster without experience?
I have been studying from Study Guide by todd lammle since 2015 with the original N10-006, and did not pass and I went though the first nine chapters twice before getting to chapter 10 which is where i am currently at for n10-007 study guide.
My score has gone up the last two times I have taken it because I saved the performance based questions for last.
Other than that I don't know how I can pass this exam faster?
    You have any advice?
Is it worth studying for the COMP TIA Network+ N10-007 course on ITpro.tv at this point of my studying with the exam ending this fall?
Do I have enough time to study from your course at this point on February 1, 2021 and pass the COMP TIA N10-007 exam in time before it retires?

I would recommend trying some practice exams. ITProTV has them available with a Premium membership. There is also an Accelerated Network+ course that will help you brush up on topics that you're confident in.
I have typically recommended that exam candidates get 80-85% on a practice test with a fresh bank of questions, before attempting the exam. Here are a few other things to keep in mind:
*1- The score on the practice exam is based on a fresh set of questions*
This is to ensure that you can "hold your own" when it comes to questions you have never seen before. This mimics the real exam and gives you the closes experience to what you will face.
*2- Focus on the areas/domains that you are weakest in, but also have the highest weight on the exam.*
This will optimize your time, it is more beneficial to work on domains that for example have 25% coverage on the real exam then to try and bring the score up on a domain that has 10% weight on the exam.
*3- When you are tackling an objective that you are weak on, focus only on that area for a couple of days.*
With all topics required to pass the exam, it can be a bit overwhelming. So focus on just a single domain (which honestly, can be a bit much too!)
*4- After you have studied a few days or a week or so, then resit another practice test with a new bank of questions.*
This helps to isolate weak areas and bring those area's scores up to the 80-85% level. Remember that you might see another domain or two reduce in score, but this is OK. Here is why, if you see an improvement on the area that you spent time working on and this in the ONLY improvement then the practice test is doing its job: Making you study more .....lol and increasing your knowledge in your weak areas.
*5- How do you tell when you are ready? You might already be ready.*
You will never feel ready, that is just a fact! The only thing you can do is to make every effort you can with all the platforms, books, notes, labs that you have at your disposal
These are a few of the things that I have told exam candidates, students and members throughout the years. When applied properly, the candidate increases their chance at a successful pass on the exam. However there are other factors that have to be considered, like testing anxiety, not reading the questions correctly, overlooking keywords, not answering questions, incomplete answers. Pay attention closely to the questions and understand what they are asking.
As far as whether you will be ready, that is something that you will have to make the determination on. I hope this helps & best of luck to you!
