Great explanation, and ending to the point... punching a hole is only bypassing manufacture saftey warnings..swollen means its defective at a litteral term.. The battery is no longer safe. Remove with caution. Do not continue to use or you are at unpredictable risk.
The problem is that many devices such as Bluetooth speakers and gamepads have batteries that swell without being detected inside the chassis. Manufacturers should make it a point that batteries should easily be checked and replaced by the user.
That would need a mandate from us consumer organisations or the Eu. Look at USB C- same thing.. As long as this practice doesnt earn them more but rather cost them more.. theyre not gonna do a thing. This is why right to repair is so important.
I have an Orashare 20,000mAh Quick-Charge powerbank. Had it since August 2022 but in June 2024 i noticed it's starting to swell and its performance has worsened. Now i dunno what to do with it because there are no lithium battery recycling facilities nearby.

Please I need help. I have some pieces of lithium phosphate batteries 🔋 that don’t retained charge 🪫 and I noticed the electrolyte seal covers are broken 😞. Can that cause a problem to the batteries? Can I add an Electrolyte to the batteries cells? What type of electrolytes can I add. Please kindly help me with a tips or solutions: Thanks
quick way to kill a lipo battery is to shoot at it with a pellet gun. lots of smoke, heat and possibly fire. i think. i have a few flight batteries that have become a little bit swollen but still works fine. i just use them on my nitro starter motor
@@pieterpretorius1014 The requirements for flight batteries themselves are relatively high. So now when used on other devices, as long as the power and current are not very high, even slight swell can be used normally
I was thinking of putting a little hole in my phone battery .. But after seeing your video i will not Just gonna have to see about getting a new battery instead
You can, just scratch the plastic with a needle let the gas out then tape it up so no moisture can get inside. I've just done it to stop the back glass being pushed off the back of the phone, also ordered a new battery too because this isn't any type of fix.
Mate, as a non natuve speaker myself, it looks as if you learned English without interacting with English speakers. It also looks as if you didn't get the core criteria of English pronunciation. All of this can be solved.

When native English speakers begin to pronounce Brazilian Portuguese properly, I can think about caring about my accent. If you can be understood, that's what matters.

If a lithium battery is swollen it is unstable and can literally explode at any moment.
What to do if the lithium battery is swollen? Run!

Nope... A new battery means a new power bank because those are one unit.
