Can’t imagine how terrified soldiers would have been approaching Omaha Beach, especially considering most of the boat was made of wood.

That is awesome. But I think you have a pretty good leak somewhere. That bilge pump is on a lot.
Either engine cooling outlet, or is just that wood boats need to swell shut. After a day or so she'll tighten right up
if full blueprints still exist, this would be very cool to replicate

My grandad served on this ship, and overseen the unloading and loading of these craft.
How did they deploy from the larger ships?
they also had/have large ships with the same front landing ramp.
The larger ships had them hanging on large davits

Drop the music, have a walk around inside to show the engine and arraignment of the equipment. Show how the drop ramp works, etc. Close ups of the gun mounts and whatever those two "Guns" are suppose to be as they certainly are not M-1919A4 Brownings. The engine sounds too light to be a Gray-Marine 6-71. Stick to the subject and avoid the tractor pull and launching.

I kind of agree that it didn't much sound like a Detroit/Grey in the video, however, if you look at other videos of this same Roberts Armory LCVP, it shows footage of the engine and it's a Gray Marine 64-NH9 (That was the model of Gray's 6-71)
